MISSING PAUL. And speaking of the so-called bias of the media, no one bothered to report on the memorial service held last night in Washington for Paul and Sheila Wellstone and their daughter and the others who perished in the crash. Perhaps the media didn’t think their readers would appreciate the quiet dignity of the service, or perhaps they were too humbled by those who spoke — David and Mark Wellstone, Colin McGinnis, Marian Wright Edeleman, David Sapertsein and others — and by Paul’s words as read by the Capitol policeman that Paul had befriended, the 5th grader who spoke about Paul’s commitment to children, Senator Domenici — who choked up at retelling his relationship with his unlikely ally — or Senator Daschle, who sounded like he knew that the Democrats had to start speaking in Paul’s voice.
Nah, they wouldn’t have found much to exploit last night. So they didn’t bother to report it.
You get that? The media only reported the first Wellstone funeral in order to exploit Democrats. Not Democrats using the media to exploit the Wellstone funeral. Snicker. So now, the media is to be blamed for catching their childish behavior on film.
Maybe they didn’t cover this one because you guys burned them so bad on the first memorial?
