Balloon Juice

Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

I desperately hope that, yet again, i am wrong.

This country desperately needs a functioning fourth estate.

But frankly mr. cole, I’ll be happier when you get back to telling us to go fuck ourselves.

Dear Washington Post, you are the darkness now.

The next time the wall street journal editorial board speaks the truth will be the first.

A thin legal pretext to veneer over their personal religious and political desires.

If rights aren’t universal, they are privilege, not rights.

When I was faster i was always behind.

The rest of the comments were smacking Boebert like she was a piñata.

Our messy unity will be our strength.

Disagreements are healthy; personal attacks are not.

Trumpflation is an intolerable hardship for every American, and it’s Trump’s fault.

Republican speaker of the house Mike Johnson is the bland and smiling face of evil.

The party of Reagan has become the party of Putin.

When someone says they “love freedom”, rest assured they don’t mean yours.

They are lying in pursuit of an agenda.

I am pretty sure these ‘journalists’ were not always such a bootlicking sycophants.

One of our two political parties is a cult whose leader admires Vladimir Putin.

if you can’t see it, then you are useless in the fight to stop it.

“The defense has a certain level of trust in defendant that the government does not.”

This isn’t Democrats spending madly. This is government catching up.

A norm that restrains only one side really is not a norm – it is a trap.

Fundamental belief of white supremacy: white people are presumed innocent, minorities are presumed guilty.

Whoever he was, that guy was nuts.

Charlie Company Task Force 1-64 of the 3rd ID faces the feared ‘Arab Street’ in downtown BAGHDAD.

Maybe the fear-mongerers and those saying the war was going poorly were talking about something else.

Can anyone think of a middle eastern country where the wars go quick and easy–say, 6 days–and the occupations do not?

    Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Ferris Bueller?

Except we are going to totally defeat this regime- there will no Arafat to engage in ‘peace talks’ with. Nice try.

    Andrea,

    Yes, perfect!

Although, after today’s events, perhaps it should look more like a black eye?
