Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

If you cannot answer whether trump lost the 2020 election, you are unfit for office.

It’s always darkest before the other shoe drops.

They traffic in fear. it is their only currency. if we are fearful, they are winning.

The poor and middle-class pay taxes, the rich pay accountants, the wealthy pay politicians.

If you are still in the gop, you are either an extremist yourself, or in bed with those who are.

You passed on an opportunity to be offended? What are you even doing here?

“I was told there would be no fact checking.”

Jack be nimble, jack be quick, hurry up and indict this prick.

“What are Republicans afraid of?” Everything.

Conservatism: there are people the law protects but does not bind and others who the law binds but does not protect.

If rights aren’t universal, they are privilege, not rights.

The arc of the moral universe does not bend itself. it is up to us to bend it.

The media handbook says “controversial” is the most negative description that can be used for a Republican.

Usually wrong but never in doubt

Radicalized white males who support Trump are pitching a tent in the abyss.

Seems like a complicated subject, have you tried yelling at it?

Republicans choose power over democracy, every day.

Proof that we need a blogger ethics panel.

Republicans firmly believe having an abortion is a very personal, very private decision between a woman and J.D. Vance.

The press swings at every pitch, we don’t have to.

Teach a man to fish, and he’ll sit in a boat all day drinking beer.

A norm that restrains only one side really is not a norm – it is a trap.

Anne Laurie is a fucking hero in so many ways. ~ Betty Cracker

This has so much WTF written all over it that it is hard to comprehend.

I can’t believe I forgot to blog about this, but I did. At any rate, I saw The Matrix Reloaded this week-end, and I thought it was outstanding. I am not sure what the hell the crtics were carping about, or what they wanted, but I sure as hell loved it. Go see it.

Well not all the critics. Ebert and Roeper loved it, Roeper calling it his favorite movie of the year so far. It was very entertaining but I still prefer the first and I think X2 was better.

    Greets!

A quick note to you about an article I found linked from the ‘Hollywood Idiots’ site, about ‘The Matrix Reloaded’.

    Here we go:
    http://worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=32708

Basically it says that the movie makes a not QUITE subtle link between Hitler, Bush and evil.

I haven’t seen the movie, nor will I be able to any time soon. Ergo, I can’t comment. But I was curious if YOU (or our fellow bloggers) made the same connection the article does.

    Take care down there,
    Bill (a conservative Canadian)
