I am not sure what to make of this, but Ariel Sharon and Palestinian Prime Minister Mahmoud Abbas (aka Abu Mazen, but everyone knows him as Nancy) have met and it appears Sharon is making concessions already:

Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon will order the withdrawal of soldiers from the centers of West Bank cities, the Israeli daily Ha’aretz reported, citing Sharon’s office following his meeting with Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Mahmoud Abbas.

Sharon and Abbas met in Jerusalem late Thursday in advance of a summit with U.S. President George W. Bush on a peace plan aimed at forming a Palestinian state in three years. Sharon told Abbas the Palestinians should work to take security control of those cities as Israeli forces withdraw, the newspaper reported on its Web site.

I am not going to get too excited.
