    I find it amazing that you would express chagrin since you primarily support the positions of the adminstration that has given us this drug policy.

    Or if this post is a joke I don’t get it.

    You can pin a lot of things on Bush, but this drug policy is not one of them. The ridiculous drug policies this nation have been pursuing have been around for three decades- and there is no real support within the Democrat party to do anything different. Look around, Laria. Who, pray tell, is the Democrat candidate in favor (publicly) of decriminalization?

    Not to mention that some of the most compelling arguments in favor of decriminalization come from Mr. Conservative, William F. Buckley. Continue to politicize this issue, Laria, and we will get nowhere.
