Dwight Meredith is writing about something that should send anyone with a sense of decency into a seething rage (Blogger links are buggered, just got to his website, hit ctrl f, and search for “Gorelick Must Resign” without the quotes).
To make a long story short, one member of the 9/11 Commission (formally known as the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon The United States), Jamie Gorelick, has an unbelievable conflict of interest:
For Jamie Gorelick, answering a simple question is not enough. Gorelick is a litigation partner in the Washington law firm of Wilmer, Cutler & Pickering. Gorelick was formerly the number two person at the Department of Justice where she held the position of Deputy Attorney General of the United States.
According to Newsweek, Gorelick

Khalid bin Mahfouz is mentioned in a lawsuit by the families of the 9/11 victims. He had investments in Tom Kean

I think so far this commission is just a hack job on Mr. Bush, who is a wonderful president. It’s supposed to be bi-partisan, but so far it’s the most partisan bunch of garbage I’ve ever heard. No one has seriously questioned a Clinton administration officials, they are just trying to hurt the one man who has shown guts in this fight against foreigners who want to see our nation burned to the ground. Leave Mr. Bush alone, he was only in office 8 months when 9/11 happened. Start asking Mr. Clinton, who was in office 8 years what he knew and when did he know it. If you can get an honest answer from him, that is.
