Balloon Juice

Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

So many bastards, so little time.

All hail the time of the bunny!

Their freedom requires your slavery.

Optimism opens the door to great things.

Innocent people do not delay justice.

Dear Washington Post, you are the darkness now.

“Until such time as the world ends, we will act as though it intends to spin on.”

Everything is totally normal and fine!!!

Michigan is a great lesson for Dems everywhere: when you have power…use it!

The fight for our country is always worth it. ~Kamala Harris

Let me file that under fuck it.

Giving in to doom is how we fail to fight for ourselves & one another.

A democracy can’t function when people can’t distinguish facts from lies.

Shut up, hissy kitty!

Hi god, it’s us. Thanks a heap, you’re having a great week and it’s only Thursday!

I’d hate to be the candidate who lost to this guy.

Historically it was a little unusual for the president to be an incoherent babbling moron.

When you’re a Republican, they let you do it.

Today in our ongoing national embarrassment…

How stupid are these people?

Never entrust democracy to any process that requires republicans to act in good faith.

You are so fucked. Still, I wish you the best of luck.

Fundamental belief of white supremacy: white people are presumed innocent, minorities are presumed guilty.

Our messy unity will be our strength.

I think Atrios is just used to snapping his fingers and seeing people jump. His popularity with the fringe just has to go to his head.

“And Cole has posted many times this weekend since that post and even responded on Atrios’s comment boards, so the “it’s the weekend” excuse just won’t wash in this instance.

He’s clearly ducking the issue now.

Gee, you’d think a rigged 9/11 commission in favor of Saudi Arabia would really piss off a Republican who was halfway fair about the investigation of 9/11, wouldn’t you?

    I guess not.”

This is the first time I have ever been accused of dodging an issue in the comments section of a post in which I addressed the issue.

And you were looking for coherence from Barney, John?

I just posted the comment so you wouldn’t miss it. I myself don’t care.

For someone who doesn’t care to post, on at least two threads, about whether the proprietor of a web-page has posted, and to do so some 4 hours apart, would suggest that “doesn’t care” means something different to you than to the rest of us.

Your expectations of logical behavior from Blarney are unreasonably elevated, Dean.

Oh no, Captain Kirk tried that same trick on ‘Nomad’. My internal consistency circuits don’t allow me to behave, or by ommission of action behave, inconsistently.

    Or, place, commas, appropriately,.

[…] Read the whole thing, but what is noticable absent is any mention of Jamie Gorelick, who had other conflicts of interest that should have kept her off the 9/11 Commission. […]
