I just saw Chicago, and, well- it was great. Well worth the two hours, and I was shocked by the performances of Renee Zellweger and John Reilly. And, of course, it has Queen Latifah, who I think is the female Snoop Dogg- anything she does is cool.
Also- the Press Conference/marionette (‘We Both Reached For the Gun’) scene is about the best ten minutes of movie ever made. I just loved that.

Everyone in Chicago turned in stellar performances. A musical is very difficult to do. even for proven singers. Much love to the cast of Chicago.

I can’t bring myself to see Chicago. It is a personal bias I have that all musicals are along the lines of Cop Rock. I just don’t get into them.
But, I do know one thing and take your word for, John C. Reilly is one hell of an actor and is always under appreciated, so I am sure his performance is stellar.

I felt the same way, cameron, until the Missus finally bullied me into renting the damn thing.
I was floored.
Two days later, I was the happy owner of the movie AND the soundtrack.
