This will come as a shock- the people at MoveOn.Org are a bunch of liars. In Spinsanity’s words:
In short, with The Daily Mislead, MoveOn has become the leader of a new school of liberal criticism that seeks to brand every policy disagreement with President Bush as a broken promise or lie. These loose accusations trivialize charges of dishonesty, reducing them to little more than another partisan spin tactic.
Must have been reading the CalPundit’s Tautology of Lies. At any rate, does anyone else find it amusing that a group formed to ‘move on’ past the events that led to the statement “it depends on what the meaning of the word is, is” now lying at every opportunity? At least they have been consistent throughout with their respect for the truth. They have none.
David Block
Move on only wants to move on when it is a Democrat. Thought you already knew that. That’s old news.
Since their level of truth is Clintonian, I had long since dismissed them. I don’t think that they would know truth if it came up and bit them in the rear.
MommaBear
Move On means only one thing: move on completely into the lying idiocy branch of being despicable.
Kimmitt
Yeah, I used to like MoveOn until they stopped caring so much about the truth. I understand their reasoning — the truth doesn’t appear to sell very well — but there are abyss gazing issues here.

So we have a millionaire with some weird ideas, obsessed with getting the president, funding a website which launches attack after attack at that president. Circa 1998, this was a Bad Thing.
Kimmitt
Democracy in Eastern Europe is a weird idea?
And yes, the Left is uncomfortable with the parallels.
HH
Who in the left is uncomfortable? Some of his weird ideas are arguably anti-Semitic, for example.
Kimmitt
Um, Soros is a holocaust survivor. This is the kind of insanity which results when “antisemitism” is redefined as “disagrees with Israeli policy.”
HH
That’s like saying “He can’t be racist! He’s Black!” Soros blamed the Jews as a whole AND Israel.
Kimmitt
