   Why couldn’t Bush have used a real terrorist, one we killed or OBL? Why “generic Arab male”? I expect that of Madison Ave or Hollywood, but my standards are a little higher for the leader of the free world.

   If he had used a real terrorist, like Osama or one of the real terrorists, you would have accused him of trying to scare the public and of exploiting 9/11.

   The simple fact of the matter is that you do not want the waron terror to be an issue, so whenever it is addressed, some canard such as this is created to deflect from the situation.

   A picture of Osama would have made no sense whatsoever in the ad and would have been jarring. It’s so comical that the actor isn’t even Arab and that doesn’t matter to the critics, which says a lot about them.

   “I expect that of Madison Ave or Hollywood, but my standards are a little higher for the leader of the free world.”

   Newsflash: In the world of political ads, Madison Ave. and Hollywood are the people hired to do them. The only significant person in politics who has any idea how to put together anything with film is Arnold Schwarzenegger and that’s debatable.

   Now that we know that the actor in the commercial was not an Arab, we can look back at the moonbat lefty sites for two new criticisms:

   1) “How dare Bushitler and Darth Rove pull a fast one and trick us into thinking they were using an Arab actor?”, and;

   2) (for sites favored by dimwitted Hollywood lefties) “How dare Bushitler and Darth Rove deprive a hard-working Arab-American actor from a paying job? Racist bastards!”

   (For those who think the second scenario is beyond the stupidity quotient of even the DU moonbats, I remind you of the Miss Saigon fiasco back in August 1990).

   Actually, the argument by Zogby yesterday on Michael Medved was a combination of #1 and “It doesn’t matter if the actor was Arab American as long as we think he was.” Bush is still a racist, and encouraging profiling, which “doesn’t work.”

   Oh, and Oliver: Osama isn’t going to show up with the suitcase full of explosives. A Muslim male (who could be any color but is MOST LIKELY to be a “generic Arab male”) will. When the number of attacks carried out by Tim McVeigh types ALONE reaches even 50% of the ones carried out by Muslims, we’ll talk. As it is, I guarantee I’m in more government databases because I’m a life member of the NRA than you and Zogby put together.

   This is nothing I’m looking forward to but if GWB is defeated by Kerry in November, can anyone imagine the absolute well deserved crap that the Dems will suffer for the next four years?

   Maybe I would look forward to that part of it. We survived Clinton.

    That’s a Hawai’ian shirt. The indigenous people of Hawai’i are also “swarthy”. Not only that, but the Hawai’ians are also victims of US imperialism, just like comrades in coloration, the Arabs. So in using the picture of the arrested Nolte wearing the Hawai’ian shirt, you are proclaiming the right of the US govt. to forcibly subdue all unruly swarthy people around the world.

    Ill buy into the War on Terror, if they could win the War on Drugs, or the War on Poverty, or even the Small Skirmish to find those lost Jobs.

    Until then I’ll think of him as a man who exploited tragedy, then squandered what it gained him.

    Odd. The more I look at that “Arab” in the ad, the more I realize that he looks just like me.

    Apparently, when that asshat Zogby sees a tanned guy with bushy eyebrows, he immediately thinks “Arab”, followed by “terrorist!”

    I just fail to see why the Bush campaign should take the blame for Zogby’s racism and prejudice.

    The very fact Zogby isn’t dismissed as an asshat demonstrates that CAIR is winning… the PC force us to apologize for imagined slights interpreted by the victicrat looking to be slighted.

    311 has now been transformed into a massive Al Qaeda victory as rather then waking-up Europe it has cowed them and altered the election in Spain to put the appeasers into power.

    That guarantees terror in the US to effect our election. So when American Buses blow up thank the Spanish Socialists, thank the newsmedia and thank JFKerry(D) for recruiting Al Qaeda bombers to his campaign by refusing to admit they, or the war on terror, exist.
