Balloon Juice

Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

Let’s finish the job.

Republicans can’t even be trusted with their own money.

Shallow, uninformed, and lacking identity

They are lying in pursuit of an agenda.

Give the craziest people you know everything they want and hope they don’t ask for more? Great plan.

Ah, the different things are different argument.

A consequence of cucumbers

The next time the wall street journal editorial board speaks the truth will be the first.

Joe Lieberman disappointingly reemerged to remind us that he’s still alive.

Putting aside our relentless self-interest because the moral imperative is crystal clear.

And now I have baud making fun of me. this day can’t get worse.

Whatever happens next week, the fight doesn’t end.

Republicans in disarray!

Is it irresponsible to speculate? It is irresponsible not to.

Nancy smash is sick of your bullshit.

There are consequences to being an arrogant, sullen prick.

“Can i answer the question? No you can not!”

Is it negotiation when the other party actually wants to shoot the hostage?

It’s always darkest before the other shoe drops.

Reality always lies in wait for … Democrats.

“Squeaker” McCarthy

Wow, you are pre-disappointed. How surprising.

The revolution will be supervised.

Putin must be throwing ketchup at the walls.

Civil forfeiture. Two VERY scary words, all thanks to the so-called war on drugs.

Oh, yeah. Hope you don’t have a higher than average electric bill in your neighborhood. Saw this one linked from Reason the other day.

It’s only a business and a cover for some of the people who are worried about drugs and their kids……. I actually think more kids need to get their hands on pot

That civil disobedience will do you a world of nothing when a cop seizes the 6 grand in your pocket (the down payment on your new car) because a drug dog reacts to it.

Somewhere between 50%-80% of all US paper currency is “contaminated” by drugs.

Preachin at the choir here. I am for removing all laws put on the books since like 1904. All the serious laws were already there. Everything placed there after that is really an invasion into rights.
