Balloon Juice

Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

We cannot abandon the truth and remain a free nation.

Seems like a complicated subject, have you tried yelling at it?

There are no moderate republicans – only extremists and cowards.

After dobbs, women are no longer free.

Relentless negativity is not a sign that you are more realistic.

You can’t attract Republican voters. You can only out organize them.

I really should read my own blog.

The most dangerous place for a black man in America is in a white man’s imagination.

I’m more christian than these people and i’m an atheist.

I’m starting to think Jesus may have made a mistake saving people with no questions asked.

Trumpflation is an intolerable hardship for every American, and it’s Trump’s fault.

There are times when telling just part of the truth is effectively a lie.

Usually wrong but never in doubt

One lie, alone, tears the fabric of reality.

“Can i answer the question? No you can not!”

Roe is not about choice. It is about freedom.

Whoever he was, that guy was nuts.

Republicans cannot even be trusted with their own money.

Nancy smash is sick of your bullshit.

You don’t get to peddle hatred on saturday and offer condolences on sunday.

Our job is not to persuade republicans but to defeat them.

The media handbook says “controversial” is the most negative description that can be used for a Republican.

If you cannot answer whether trump lost the 2020 election, you are unfit for office.

Wow, you are pre-disappointed. How surprising.

Who said the following:

“Still, I’m not a knee-jerk left-wing guy,” ******************** said. “I am an advocate of the Second Amendment; I don’t believe in abortion as birth control; and I was the first to call for Clinton’s impeachment. I think that this country has shifted so far over to the right that anyone who is a garden-variety Democrat circa 1972 is painted as a Marxist-Leninist.”

Ahhh…Rall is a self-styled centrist? Pull the other one.

Why are we even wasting our time on such a little man?

What Rall and his idealogical bedfellows mistakenly label as a right shift of the country is in fact a left shift within their own ranks – the garden-variety Democrat circa 1972 is viewed, by Rall and his ilk, as conservative.

He’s right….the Dem. party has shifted WAYYYYYY over to the left. The garden variety Dem today is basically a marxist, they just don’t have the guts to admit it

Yup, as everybody has said for the last 3 years, JF Kennedy was more conservative than Bush.

I second Mark’s question. Why bother with such a little, hateful man?

A garden variety Dem today is a Marxist? As in moving towards the workers owning the means of production and all that?

Could you please point out one average Democrat who is advocating this? Link?

This is complete nonsense. Both parties have moved closer to the middle.

Ted Rall is a fascinating specimen, from a purely psychological standpoint.

Ted Rall’s biggest constituency is “outraged” conservatives.

Only fitting, Oliver. Anne Coulter’s is “outraged” liberals.

After his invective against Pat Tillman, I couldn’t care less about Rall’s comments on anything.

    Are you high?

    No more than Oliver.

What, Kimmitt, conservatives are responsible for *both* Rall *and* Coulter?

Gee, you guys really are just saints, aren’t you? One wonders how you get by, w/ all them unwashed conservatives mucking up both ends of the political spectrum….

    *snicker*

Yes, my bookshelves are positively groaning under the weight of the books by Coulter, Limbaugh, and Hannity. Maybe stouter ones, made from illegally imported rain forest mahogany, would do the trick.

Neither are mine. By your reasoning, therefore, Ann Coulter has sold no books.
