WOW. I don’t mean to be vague but I’m just stunned, head shaking stunned.

I’m beginning to think that prior to reading this woman’s account, pro-choice bloggers must have thought that all abortions were for the “right” reasons, or that all women who had abortions were nice people.
This woman is disgusting. People who murder doctors and bomb clinics are disgusting. Neither fringe defines pro-choice or pro-life.

This perosn is absolutley disgusting. Turns out she is an abortion activist. I can only hope that at some point, her son learns that she conveniently reduced his two siblings.

The really disturbing part of this controversy is hearing the hard-core advocates of both the pro-life and pro-choice positions saying basically the same thing: “What did you think ‘pro-choice’ meant?”, with the pro-choice people sneering at people who would dare to object to this sort of thing, and the pro-lifers saying “It’s all part of the same evil–why are you making more of a fuss over this manifestation of it?” Personally, I wouldn’t want to be treated–or see anyone I cared about treated–by any doctor who would perform such a procedure except in a case of dire medical need, and if the pro-choice activists think that this sort of thing doesn’t hurt them in the realm of public opinion, they’re nuts–and I say this as someone who is pro-choice.

Gotta agree with Scott- and how often does that happen?
People like that do not help the pro-choice cause.

Thanks for bringing this article to my attention. It only confirms what I’ve long suspected to be the motivation behind most abortions: Personal conveniance. On the other hand, I don’t find this woman as despicable as it seems do some of your other commenters. Rather, I applaud her candor!

What she did was wrong, but it was her own body.

Just out of curiosity, do you think bars should restrict the number of drinks a pregnant woman can purchase? Why, if it’s the woman’s body?
