Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

“Just close your eyes and kiss the girl and go where the tilt-a-whirl takes you.” ~OzarkHillbilly

Republicans firmly believe having an abortion is a very personal, very private decision between a woman and J.D. Vance.

The press swings at every pitch, we don’t have to.

There are more Russians standing up to Putin than Republicans.

Something needs to be done about our bogus SCOTUS.

rich, arrogant assholes who equate luck with genius

Those who are easily outraged are easily manipulated.

It’s a good piece. click on over. but then come back!!

Our messy unity will be our strength.

I’ve spoken to my cat about this, but it doesn’t seem to do any good.

To the privileged, equality seems like oppression.

Be a wild strawberry.

The world has changed, and neither one recognizes it.

The line between political reporting and fan fiction continues to blur.

Fear and negativity are contagious, but so is courage!

Anne Laurie is a fucking hero in so many ways. ~ Betty Cracker

Come on, media. you have one job. start doing it.

Fundamental belief of white supremacy: white people are presumed innocent, minorities are presumed guilty.

In my day, never was longer.

The republican caucus is covering themselves with something, and it is not glory.

You can’t attract Republican voters. You can only out organize them.

SCOTUS: It’s not “bribery” unless it comes from the Bribery region of France. Otherwise, it’s merely “sparkling malfeasance”.

They think we are photo bombing their nice little lives.

It’s the corruption, stupid.

Outsourcing

This post is in: Democratic Stupidity

This is certainly timely- the multimedia arm of the Democratic National Committee, otherwise known as CBS, apparently has run out of Bush-bashing books and will instead have to re-air this piece on outsourcing:

For decades, American manufacturers of everything from blue jeans to semiconductors have searched the world for the cheapest labor they could find.

It may have cost hundreds of thousands of American jobs, but it’s made American products more affordable. Now, some of the most familiar companies -ones we deal with every day – are moving a whole new class of jobs overseas.

They call it outsourcing. Not the old economy assembly line jobs, but jobs in the new economy — anything that involves a computer or a telephone.

Gee- just in time to support the false messages put forward during the convention. I am sure it is just a coincidence.

“The CBS Evening News with Mujipur Sandip” should save the network at least $10 million a year. After all, you can broadcast via satellite from anywhere in the world.

Are you suggesting that it’s not a real issue? You might feel differently if you lost your job due to outsourcing.

Blacksmiths were pretty pissed about the invention of the Model T, too.
