Balloon Juice

Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

When I decide to be condescending, you won’t have to dream up a fantasy about it.

You don’t get to peddle hatred on saturday and offer condolences on sunday.

Balloon Juice has never been a refuge for the linguistically delicate.

Americans barely caring about Afghanistan is so last month.

If you are still in the GOP, you are an extremist.

Today’s GOP: why go just far enough when too far is right there?

John Fetterman: Too Manly for Pennsylvania.  Paid for by the Oz for Senator campaign.

Nothing worth doing is easy.

You can’t attract Republican voters. You can only out organize them.

Whatever happens next week, the fight doesn’t end.

Consistently wrong since 2002

Their freedom requires your slavery.

The GOP couldn’t organize an orgy in a whorehouse with a fist full of 50s.

If senate republicans had any shame, they’d die of it.

“But what about the lurkers?”

Conservatism: there are some people the law protects but does not bind and others who the law binds but does not protect.

I’ve spoken to my cat about this, but it doesn’t seem to do any good.

A Senator Walker would also be an insult to reason, rationality, and decency.

Let’s delete this post and never speak of this again.

Putting aside our relentless self-interest because the moral imperative is crystal clear.

Speaking of republicans, is there a way for a political party to declare intellectual bankruptcy?

I see no possible difficulties whatsoever with this fool-proof plan.

No one could have predicted…

If you tweet it in all caps, that makes it true!

Ever wondered what kind of information the government has encoded in the bar codes on your driver’s license? Now you don’t need to wonder anymore.

    Great link John.

I think the privacy advocates are almost nowhere to be found, where’s the spyware bill damnit?

Man it’s bad enough fighting spyware, ads, dialers, and tracking cookies on your pc. I mean I have two firewalls on my computer, one is sygate for normal activity, and protowall for bad ip adresses.
