I’m thinking the word “asking” fell out of that sentence.
Myself, all I can say is that I was Ass’t Patrol Leader in my Scout Troop, and I served tables in summer camp. So I thank you for your service.

I find all of the recent attention being payed to Viet Nam both interesting and aggravating. It’s always been a hot button for me. Several years ago I really got upset with a Salon Table Talk left winger who was pissed at Bob Kerrey, because of a negative comment Kerrey had made about Clinton. In his criticism of Bob Kerrey he stated that: In Viet Nam Congressional Medal of Honors were handed out like crackerjack prizes. There was no way I could let such a statement go unchallenged. Unfortunately it went from bad to worse (Table Talk was pretty much a left of center community), so eventually this person was joined by other anti war types in calling all medal of honor winners lunatics and worse. I went back in forth with This person for several days until it became point less to continue. BTW this is still something I don’t understand about almost all political discussion on the internet – Why are so many people (both left and right), not able to admit there’s a chance, even if its only a slight chance, that they may be wrong?

Re being drooled on by Jade Gold – I guess its possible but that wasn’t the name this goof ball was using. Its been a few years plus I’ve tried to forget about him so his name is not seared in my memory, but I believe it started with Sned.
Rick
Was that Inbred Sned???
Cordially…

Not a blogger, but just wanted to say it’s nice to see a former Blackhorse trooper online with such a good blog. I was in Fulda from 92-94, in S&T Troop in Support Squadron. Allons!
