Great news from the Middle East:
Foreign doctors rushed to Yasser Arafat’s side on Thursday to tend to the seriously ill Palestinian leader, who for decades has symbolized his people’s struggle for statehood.
The 75-year-old ex-guerrilla, loved by most of his people and reviled by many Israelis, has suffered stomach pains since last week.
His health took a dramatic turn for the worse on Wednesday and officials said he had been slipping in and out of consciousness, though on Thursday he had also been able to eat, talk and say prayers.
Just fucking die already and slither through the gates of hell. Arafat easily makes my top ten list for most evil person of the century, and I hope he enjoys the long, slow burn he has earned.

He might already be dead. CBS news had some ridiculous statements this morning on my drive to work. The Arafish was unconscious last night, for only ten minutes, this morning he got up for morning prayers. No source on either. It sounded to me as if the Palestinians were just trying to hold things together until they get their act together. The prime minister, the former prime minister, Mrs. Arafish and other Palestinian magnates are there.
It sounds like any scene from the past where a king without a settled heir is dying. The nobles from the land gather around to find out who is the successor, right before starting the civil war when their guy isn’t the successor.
I know it’s wrong to wish death on people, but the Palestinian terrorist types aren’t people. I look forward with great relish to the ugliest civil war in history. This will be even uglier than the 30 Years War, albeit on a smaller scale. The major weapons in this conflict will be: Homemade rockets, wildy unaimed AK-47s and suicide bombers.
I almost feel sorry for the average Palestinian, but it’s their own fault for allowing conditions to degrade this far.
The only hope is that the savage types will kill each other off and leave only one group for Israel to kill. Then, maybe the Palestinians will actually get a state and possibly live in peace with their neighbors. Something they haven’t managed to do despite the help they get from all over the world. All over the world except, that is, for other Arab countries.

I still cannot frigging believe this man was awarded a Nobel PEACE Prize. The award was forever tarnished once that happened.

Now that would be the funeral procession Israel should bomb repeatedly.

The reason, John, that I love your blog is that you never pussyfoot. Still no trackback at my new endeavor, but I’ve linked this one up as well. I’ll incorporate trackback this weekend so you’ll know how often I am appreciating your penchant for cutting to the chase.
