Balloon Juice

Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

This really is a full service blog.

Is it irresponsible to speculate? It is irresponsible not to.

This blog will pay for itself.

This has so much WTF written all over it that it is hard to comprehend.

The GOP is a fucking disgrace.

Republicans do not pay their debts.

Republicans seem to think life begins at the candlelight dinner the night before.

Authoritarian republicans are opposed to freedom for the rest of us.

“What are Republicans afraid of?” Everything.

Despite his magical powers, I don’t think Trump is thinking this through, to be honest.

Optimism opens the door to great things.

Historically it was a little unusual for the president to be an incoherent babbling moron.

Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

Fuck these fucking interesting times.

And now I have baud making fun of me. this day can’t get worse.

You can’t attract Republican voters. You can only out organize them.

Never entrust democracy to any process that requires republicans to act in good faith.

That’s my take and I am available for criticism at this time.

Republican obstruction dressed up as bipartisanship. Again.

Red lights blinking on democracy’s dashboard

Balloon Juice has never been a refuge for the linguistically delicate.

When do we start airlifting the women and children out of Texas?

Some judge needs to shut this circus down soon.

The Bus and the Steelers Roll On

The Steelers defeated the hated Browns today by a score of 24-10. Once again, the Steelers have swept the series vs. the Browns, and it looks like this Steeler team really is something special.

Ben Roethlisberger also set and NFL record today, as he is now the first rookie in NFL history to win 7 in a row. Congrats.

The real hero of the game today was Dick Lebeau and his smothering defense- Blitzburgh is back again. If you want to know what the day was like for the Browns, this picture sums it up:

Is it too early to start thinking about one for the thumb?

Sorry for this, John. Quite off-topic, but you’ve got to check this site out if you haven’t already. You can download nearly every Dead show ever performed, perfectly legally.

And in other sports news of blogging interest, Springer’s Whore’s (Jesse) team, the Bengals, beat Soros’ Whore’s (O Dub) team, the Skins, 17-10.

Enjoy the ride, John, for as long as it lasts. But don’t drink so much of the Roethlisberger Kool-Aid that you’re twisting in agony when the wheels finally come flying off.
