The Democrat Strategy to make Democrats appear attractive to mainstream voters marches forward with another keen approach at attracting voters. The new strategy?
Bitching about how much money Bush has personally donated to the Tsunami relief effort.
I’m serious- click the link. They have lost their minds with Bush hate.
Daryl McCullough
Why is Oliver bitching about Bush worse than you bitching about Oliver?
John cole
Are you an idiot? Are you really incapable of figuring this out, or are you just trying to waste my time.
Daryl McCullough
Okay, I can see that this isn’t the right place for an argument. This must be abuse.
John cole
Daryl- YOu see no difference between someone chastising the President because he gave too little to charity, and someone telling that person he is off kilter? No distinction whatsoever?
Daryl McCullough
John,
Thanks for the more civil tone.
Well, Oliver’s post seemed like petty sniping, and so did yours. I don’t see the big difference, except that Oliver was sniping at somebody newsworthy, while you were sniping at some blogger.
Robin Roberts
Evidently, John, Daryl does not understand the difference. Evidently sniping is OK, sniping at sniping not. I guess.
Floyd McWilliams
Evidently sniping is OK, sniping at sniping not. I guess.
How should we categorize Daryl’s sniping about sniping about sniping …
George Saras
How much did oliver give? Who the Hell is this moron, Daryl McCullough?
M. Scott Eiland
Oliver ought to stick to posting bikini photos until he can get the taste of bile out of his mouth for supporting the loser last November, though the antics of his party might delay the process.
Kimmitt
This is the first I’d heard of this; I don’t really read Willis.
These sorts of pissing matches are silly — I’m a grad student, so I don’t have a lot to give. When I have a salary again, I’ll resume my previously reasonably high level of generousity.
triticale
The only parameter by which it would be valid to evaluate Bush’s personal donation (of money that is, assuming that time devoted to the situation doesn’t count) would be by comparison with the amount of money donated by the aptly named Tides Foundation.
