Balloon Juice

Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

If you are still in the GOP, you are an extremist.

This has so much WTF written all over it that it is hard to comprehend.

Republicans do not pay their debts.

We still have time to mess this up!

This blog will pay for itself.

Speaking of republicans, is there a way for a political party to declare intellectual bankruptcy?

Republicans in disarray!

Fuck these fucking interesting times.

Republican obstruction dressed up as bipartisanship. Again.

The GOP couldn’t organize an orgy in a whorehouse with a fist full of 50s.

Why is it so hard for them to condemn hate?

Black Jesus loves a paper trail.

T R E 4 5 O N

The party of Reagan has become the party of Putin.

And we’re all out of bubblegum.

I was promised a recession.

“What are Republicans afraid of?” Everything.

The truth is, these are not very bright guys, and things got out of hand.

if you can’t see it, then you are useless in the fight to stop it.

The revolution will be supervised.

They traffic in fear. it is their only currency. if we are fearful, they are winning.

“Squeaker” McCarthy

The worst democrat is better than the best republican.

fuckem (in honor of the late great efgoldman)

Just heard on the Imus show that Ward Churchill, the controversial Ethnic Studies professor at the University of Colorado at Boulder, and Ron Jeremy, aka the “Hedgehog of Love,” were both scheduled to speak at Eastern Washington University this weekend.

Then the EWU Board of Trustees met, came to their senses. and decided that Ward Churchhill was too offensive and controversial to have come to the school. Jeremy’s visit was unchanged.

I lived in Boulder for nine years: thank God I never met Ward Churchill… he’s so far to the left he makes Teddy and Kerry look positively extreme right.

It will be interesting to see if he finally gets the axe from CU (at the risk of a major law suit).

I don’t understand the “hypocritical” comment on this issue.

If you are offended at the people being killed in the WTC at being called Little Eichmanns, you must therefore not like pornography?

    That’s indicative of trisomy-21.

Wasn’t Ron Jeremy on one of those shows where washed up celebrities live in the same house?

    Ward Churchill Is Scary

I mean that literally. I’d never seen the guy before, until I saw him on TV this morning. He looks one step removed from Charles Manson. It seems that Mr. Churchill is sticking to his guns. (H/T Myopic Zeal) BOULDER, Colo. (Reuters) – A University …
