    Joe Lieberman is a whiny JEW (but I like the fact that he is an environmentalist)!!! Americans THINK!!
    If we keep letting shady JEWS slip into Washinton, no matter how liberal or progressive they are, it is only a matter of time before they side with thier fellow neocons (JEWS) and lead us into an Israel related WWIII (it wont be the JEWS out there on the front line folks!).
    Mark my words! If Lieberman were to really give his two cents he would have a rock solid alliance w/ Wolfowitz and all the rest of the president controlling KIKES!

    Interesting. It’s also interesting that a fair number of the blogs in the Link you posted below to the Schiavo issue call for Lieberman’s defeat in the Connecticut primary. In fact, several of them have specifically referred to him as a “traitor.” But maybe you don’t consider atrios and the like as “fringe.”

    Well I think the Democratic “fringe” in this case cares less about voting records (Dean was a pro gun centrist who happened to be unburdened with voting for the Iraq resoltion) and more to do with the perception that Lieberman and other DLC Democrats have a tendency to be more outspoken against the grassroots of the party than they are against what are percieved to be the excesses of the Republican party.

    It would be akin to a Republican politician constantly denigrating the religious right. Or at least, it would be akin to the religious right seeing a Republican politician as speeking out more against them than the Democrats.

    Lieberman’s got great positions on the issues, a lot of the more liberal democrat’s problems with him stem from his readiness to go on FoxNews and talk about compromise for the sake of compromise.

    It’s probably the same issue a lot of reps have with McCain, the fact that they both do their own thing for their own personal glorification

    Oliver, perhaps Lieberman’s idea of ‘who’ the Democratic Party is varies with yours, ergo the stabbing as you referred to it. I’m on the other team but I see Joe Lieberman as more of a real democrat than many of the people that currently hold leadership positions in the party.
