Balloon Juice

Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

Our job is not to persuade republicans but to defeat them.

Hell hath no fury like a farmer bankrupted.

Of course you can have champagne before noon. That’s why orange juice was invented.

Wow, I can’t imagine what it was like to comment in morse code.

fuckem (in honor of the late great efgoldman)

My years-long effort to drive family and friends away has really paid off this year.

The real work of an opposition party is to hold the people in power accountable.

This fight is for everything.

When you’re a Republican, they let you do it.

Giving in to doom is how we fail to fight for ourselves & one another.

The republican caucus is covering themselves with something, and it is not glory.

America is going up in flames. The NYTimes fawns over MAGA celebrities. No longer a real newspaper.

You cannot shame the shameless.

The words do not have to be perfect.

Optimism opens the door to great things.

if you can’t see it, then you are useless in the fight to stop it.

We still have time to mess this up!

But frankly mr. cole, I’ll be happier when you get back to telling us to go fuck ourselves.

Yeah, with this crowd one never knows.

If America since Jan 2025 hasn’t broken your heart, you haven’t loved her enough.

There is no right way to do the wrong thing.

Never entrust democracy to any process that requires republicans to act in good faith.

Wake up. Grow up. Get in the fight.

Motto for the House: Flip 5 and lose none.

Woke up this morning and the ceiling in my kitchen had partially collapsed and the entire kitchen was a wet soggy mess. Fortunately, it was from the water heater upstairs, and not their commode.

The, I went outside to the car to run some errands, and the battery was dead.

Fabulous.

You’re having a hell of a lot better day than the Schindler family. Imagine watching the skin split open as blood oozes out of your daughter’s eyes and mouth.

“Imagine watching the skin split open as blood oozes out of your daughter’s eyes and mouth”

Fortunately, sean was able to peek into Terri’s room and witness the first-ever ‘beautiful’ death by dehydration.
