Balloon Juice

Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

Dear elected officials: Trump is temporary, dishonor is forever.

All hail the time of the bunny!

They want us to be overwhelmed and exhausted. Focus. Resist. Oppose.

SCOTUS: It’s not “bribery” unless it comes from the Bribery region of France. Otherwise, it’s merely “sparkling malfeasance”.

If you don’t believe freedom is for everybody, then the thing you love isn’t freedom, it is privilege.

Everything is totally normal and fine!!!

Jack be nimble, jack be quick, hurry up and indict this prick.

You would normally have to try pretty hard to self-incriminate this badly.

New McCarthy, same old McCarthyism.

Putting aside our relentless self-interest because the moral imperative is crystal clear.

Since when do we limit our critiques to things we could do better ourselves?

Weird. Rome has an American Pope and America has a Russian President.

I would gladly pay you tuesday for a hamburger today.

Washington Post Catch and Kill, not noticeably better than the Enquirer’s.

One way or another, he’s a liar.

Michigan is a great lesson for Dems everywhere: when you have power…use it!

I’d like to think you all would remain faithful to me if i ever tried to have some of you killed.

A tremendous foreign policy asset… to all of our adversaries.

I don’t recall signing up for living in a dystopian sci-fi novel.

When we show up, we win.

Accountability, motherfuckers.

’Where will you hide, Roberts, the laws all being flat?’

Fight for a just cause, love your fellow man, live a good life.

Republicans choose power over democracy, every day.

Personally, I liked Judy Woodruff. I will miss her. I liked Bernard Shaw, too. HE had that great, brassy voice that just was pleasant to listen to.

I’ve heard that Hitler had that effect on many Germans. Many a German would just swoon to his mellifluous voice as he made the case for the final solution.

Did anyone else get a (probably) unrelated/incidental thumbnail of a bulldog when they opened that link? Ouch! Someone’s got a wicked sense of humor at Nutscrape today.

JG: you missed this one from THE ANTICHRIST post. “”But he said *all* Republicans.” Well, not everyone in the Nazi party was an evil person; did that make it okay to be a Nazi? That was made by Anderson. But perhaps it doesn’t meet the criteria of “Goodwins” law.
