All but one of my six of my email addresses has been hammered (spammered??) with German spam this weekend. What gives?

Those mails probably are rightwing propaganda. The Sober virus has hijacked a lot of computers, which are now sending out those spam mails.
Btw, the addresses the mails are supposed to be from are faked, the supposed senders have no idea that somebody is sending out spam under their names.

Hopefully, this won’t be followed by emails from the suffering widow of one of Bonn’s former finance ministers, who needs our urgent help in accepting a bank transfer of millions of dollars worth of recently converted Euros.
