Balloon Juice

Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

These days, even the boring Republicans are nuts.

Too often we hand the biggest microphones to the cynics and the critics who delight in declaring failure.

Every decision we make has lots of baggage with it, known or unknown.

Never entrust democracy to any process that requires republicans to act in good faith.

Republicans want to make it harder to vote and easier for them to cheat.

“They all knew.”

🎶 Those boots were made for mockin’ 🎵

It’s a good piece. click on over. but then come back!!

America is going up in flames. The NYTimes fawns over MAGA celebrities. No longer a real newspaper.

This blog will pay for itself.

If you still can’t see these things even now, maybe politics isn’t your forte and you should stop writing about it.

It’s all just conspiracy shit beamed down from the mothership.

Republicans do not trust women.

Today in our ongoing national embarrassment…

If rights aren’t universal, they are privilege, not rights.

If a good thing happens for a bad reason, it’s still a good thing.

A thin legal pretext to veneer over their personal religious and political desires.

Not rolling over. fuck you, make me.

JFC, are there no editors left at that goddamn rag?

Insiders who complain to politico: please report to the white house office of shut the fuck up.

The rest of the comments were smacking Boebert like she was a piñata.

You are either for trump or for democracy. Pick one.

Let there be snark.

There are some who say that there are too many strawmen arguments on this blog.

When I read of the explosion that killed the anti-Syrian critic yesterday, I had the exact same reaction that Captain Ed did:

“The Syrians Send Another Message”

Because the last assassination worked out so well for them.

Oh well, in the swamps of stupid lefties, this will no doubt be blamed on the Neocons/PNAC/Zionists.

Indeed. It is very odd that the Syrians would choose to do this given what happened last time. Look under the idea of cui bono (who benefits?), one would question that even further.

But of course, it was the Syrians. No doubt.

It is impolite not to respond to such a message. Perhaps we could send a love note via cruise missle to Syrian intellegence?
