Balloon Juice

Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

Meanwhile over at truth Social, the former president is busy confessing to crimes.

The republican caucus is already covering themselves with something, and it’s not glory.

Too often we confuse noise with substance. too often we confuse setbacks with defeat.

Proof that we need a blogger ethics panel.

Take your GOP plan out of the witness protection program.

When I decide to be condescending, you won’t have to dream up a fantasy about it.

After roe, women are no longer free.

And now I have baud making fun of me. this day can’t get worse.

Let us savor the impending downfall of lawless scoundrels who richly deserve the trouble barreling their way.

You don’t get to peddle hatred on saturday and offer condolences on sunday.

Some judge needs to shut this circus down soon.

Is it irresponsible to speculate? It is irresponsible not to.

They love authoritarianism, but only when they get to be the authoritarians.

The words do not have to be perfect.

… pundit janitors mopping up after the GOP

Technically true, but collectively nonsense

Historically it was a little unusual for the president to be an incoherent babbling moron.

Accused of treason; bitches about the ratings. I am in awe.

Second rate reporter says what?

Consistently wrong since 2002

Good lord, these people are nuts.

Let’s finish the job.

In my day, never was longer.

When do we start airlifting the women and children out of Texas?

Unbelievable.

It’s not often that I curse myself for being a Mac jihadist, but this is one of those days.

i checked this google world thing out this morning – i have never got gooseflesh from software before. frankly, it scared me. i’ve had dreams where i could bounce up into the clouds and back down, and the interface re-creates this impression in a way i never thought i would see in my lifetime.

i think that’s my car parked outside my place in one photo.

    that’s just spooky.

god knows what the nuts who run this country can actually see.

I love how Google understands word of mouth these days on the internet. They release the coolest fucking thing ever and there’s hardly a blip about it from Google. There’s not even a mention of it on the main page, and there probably never will be.

Mac version is out soon, they say. I might install it on other people’s work computers tomorrow in the meantime.

Pan over some mountains and hills. It’s 3D ! It’s just like flying over from 5,000 feet (except for that kid kicking the back of your seat).
