Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

Conservatism: there are some people the law protects but does not bind and others who the law binds but does not protect.

Republicans are the party of chaos and catastrophe.

Give the craziest people you know everything they want and hope they don’t ask for more? Great plan.

“Squeaker” McCarthy

Let us savor the impending downfall of lawless scoundrels who richly deserve the trouble barreling their way.

Red lights blinking on democracy’s dashboard

I like you, you’re my kind of trouble.

The GOP couldn’t organize an orgy in a whorehouse with a fist full of 50s.

Is it irresponsible to speculate? It is irresponsible not to.

Sitting here in limbo waiting for the dice to roll

They’re not red states to be hated; they are voter suppression states to be fixed.

I’ve spoken to my cat about this, but it doesn’t seem to do any good.

Republicans are radicals, not conservatives.

It may be funny to you motherfucker, but it’s not funny to me.

Take hopelessness and turn it into resilience.

All your base are belong to Tunch.

Usually wrong but never in doubt

Is it negotiation when the other party actually wants to shoot the hostage?

The truth is, these are not very bright guys, and things got out of hand.

Proof that we need a blogger ethics panel.

You don’t get to peddle hatred on saturday and offer condolences on sunday.

Black Jesus loves a paper trail.

I’d like to think you all would remain faithful to me if i ever tried to have some of you killed.

A democracy can’t function when people can’t distinguish facts from lies.

You gotta love Drudge- where else would you find stuff like this:

NASA’s mission that sent a space probe smashing into a comet raised more than cosmic dust – it also brought a lawsuit from a Russian astrologer.

Marina Bai has sued the U.S. space agency, claiming the Deep Impact probe that punched a crater into the comet Tempel 1 late Sunday “ruins the natural balance of forces in the universe,” the newspaper Izvestia reported Tuesday. A Moscow court has postponed hearings on the case until late July, the paper said.

The probe’s comet crash sent up a cloud of debris that scientists hope to examine to learn how the solar system was formed.

Bai is seeking damages totaling 8.7 billion rubles ($300 million) – the approximate equivalent of the mission’s cost – for her “moral sufferings,” Izvestia said, citing her lawyer Alexander Molokhov. She earlier told the paper that the experiment would “deform her horoscope.”

What are the normal punitive damage rewards for ‘deformed horoscopes?’

What pisses me off most, and what is most damaging to our country, is the fact that support or Rove, as with Clinton, depends on party alone. Dems want Rove’s scalp, Repubs will pull no punches to defend him. The exact same thing could be said of Clinton’s attackers and defenders.

It doesn’t matter to supporters one bit if the individual on “your team” is guilty. Likewise it doen’t matter to the other side if said individual is innocent.

I think deep inside everyone knows that. Hence all the rage thrown back and forth. NOBODY wants to face the realization that they may indeed be a hypocrate and completely full of shit.

For the record, I thought Clinton was tawdry and an embarassment. Likewise I think Bush is a disgrace and cringe every time I hear the buffoon speak.

From the extremely elderly doctor’s comments above, the plaintiff may be onto something.

    Cordially…

You must have forgotten a ton of the Democrats that voted for impeachment, something that you’ll never find in today’s Senate. Its convenient for you to forget all the Dems that were against Clinton, forget all of the cartoons of Clinton with a knife in the back, forget all the talking points from self-hating Democrats.

The exact same thing could be said of Clinton’s attackers and defenders.

You forget that Clinton had very high approval numbers, which means both Repubs and Dems supported him.
