Balloon Juice

Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

Battle won, war still ongoing.

We cannot abandon the truth and remain a free nation.

Good lord, these people are nuts.

Our job is not to persuade republicans but to defeat them.

The worst democrat is better than the best republican.

rich, arrogant assholes who equate luck with genius

They are lying in pursuit of an agenda.

This has so much WTF written all over it that it is hard to comprehend.

Fuck the extremist election deniers. What’s money for if not for keeping them out of office?

Optimism opens the door to great things.

Whatever happens next week, the fight doesn’t end.

Nancy smash is sick of your bullshit.

We are builders in a constant struggle with destroyers. let’s win this.

… riddled with inexplicable and elementary errors of law and fact

If you are still in the GOP, you are an extremist.

“Everybody’s entitled to be an idiot.”

No Justins, No Peace

Only Democrats have agency, apparently.

After roe, women are no longer free.

No one could have predicted…

Impressively dumb. Congratulations.

Hot air and ill-informed banter

JFC, are there no editors left at that goddamn rag?

White supremacy is terrorism.

I don’t know what I have, but I am sick as a dog. I have the sweats and feel awful. Nothing worse than feeling like crap in the summer. I think this is the first time I have been sick since I quit smoking on NYE.

There’s a stomach bug going around, at least in my area of NoVA, maybe it decided to slum it in WV.

Kudos on the no smoking. Been doing the “I’m quitting”/”Just one more” thing for the last 6 months. What’s your secret? Pure willpower or device?

Sick in the summer does eat it. I had strep mid-August a few years back and about lost all sanity. 102 fever when its 95 out will do that.

I’d say list symptoms for a blog diagnosis, but that might be percieved as “Fristian”. Better to give a doctor friend a call.

Oh that sucks. (I just got over a good late-fall-style ailment myself.) Hope you feel better soon.

Clever- I would rather not list the symptoms. Suffice it to say, Decided fencesitter might be on to something.

Understandable. Was more of a joke than a true suggestion.

    Get well.

Ditto. We lost a couple people at work to a bug that’s been working its way around the Houston area. Get well soon, bud.
