No. it is film shot by terrorist snipers as they shoot a soldier right in the chest. It hits his body armor, he gets knocked down, and gets right back up and looks for a target.

Too bad more troops weren’t sent out with the good stuff.

Ah damnit, out and about on my Macintosh laptop! Can’t view it. I’ll have to wait to get back to my house to watch but, from what I read, thats a pretty nutty thing to catch on camera.

Wow, that’s nice. The sort of thing that puts the fear of Allah into would-be snipers.
If only we could shave some money off of the ridiculous defense industry boondoggles that suck up billions of dollars a day and drop it into stuff that works, like this.
Can you imagine walking around Iraq in full battle-rattle? I can’t stand going from the office to my car when its 115. And thats with light clothing for a 2 minute walk. Over there it hits 115 by 9:00 am. reagan had it right. If you’re going to invade a country, make sure that country is in the carribean.

I believe pretty much all the troops anywhere near the frontlines always had the topshelf body armor.
Link’s down for me too

My friend that was over there said the heat was unbearable, and this was in the winter/spring. These guys are going through hell. Thank God the guy in the video got up. I can’t imagine what was going through his head when that happened.

He was probably thinking ‘holy shit this ground is hot’.

Er, a problem in Iraq is that there are no clearly demarcated “lines”. Except, perhaps the border lines of the Green Zone, the airport, and other bases.

Hope you’re right.
Living as I do in our version of Bagdad, where it’s 110+ every day now, I can appreciate what those guys are experiencing. All I can say is, God bless ’em.
thanks for the link. I was amazed, too, when I received that video. A long time ago I had to wear that type of body armor and it is hot, bulky, and gets in the way alot. Fortunately, it gets in the way of those pesky bullets, too!
Keep our troops in your prayers.

I just read the description — no video at the office. Is it a snuff film of a U.S. soldier killing the guys that just tried to kill him?
