Say what you will about Harris, but her performance as the Joker in Tim Burton’s “Batman” was excellent.

Katherine Harris certainly isn’t my idea of attractive, but it’s funny when people on the left mock her appearance.
the party of Madeline Albright and Barbara Mikulski and Donna Shalala and Janet Reno and Maxine Waters and Molly Ivins–I could go on but I won’t–really should avoid talking about peoples appearances.

Sojourner Says:
Hillary Clinton is hardly a dingbat. I’m not a fan of hers but it’s difficult to dispute that she’s a formidable politician and a very smart person.
Sorry, but Hilary had name recognition to get her into her Senate seat. Most of her political “strength” is attributed to what some call strong-arm tactics used by her husband’s administration. With out the bully pulpit of the WH, she’s dwindling down to just another looney lefty.
She may be smart, but winning a single election hardly makes her “formidable.” And her stance on many issues isn’t “main stream” enough for her to be formidable in the future.
Not very many on the left made fun of Katherine Harris until she did it to herself. She whined about the press modifying her image to make her look bad, and was proved wrong. Damn those lefties!
Bush got elected because of name recognition in both Texas and for POTUS. The left miscalculated how great that name recognition would serve him in the elections and have paid for it. Will you do the same?
Oh, and at least Hillary can say nuclear.

I’m talking about the comments above, dipshit.
And basically all of November 2000.

Now that’s funny. First, I don’t know about proved wrong.
Second, is that remark ignorance or historical revisionism?
Quote from the Reason article talking about the post-election brouhaha By Thanksgiving,(that’s Thanksgiving 2000 V)everybody had already heard enough jokes about Katherine Harris’ makeup.
The NY Times was making fun of her make-up for heaven’s sake.
I especially liked the above comment about her changing the law after the election. That just too funny.
I see the Sore/Loserman party still clings to farce.

I think we all learned in 4th grade that it’s fun to make fun of the appearance of people we don’t like, and very few of us ever got over the habit. It’s particularly silly to pretend that only adherents of one side or the other engage in the practice. Yes, Katherine Harris wears crappy makeup, and Michael Moore is fat.
She claimed that the press falsly colorized her picture to make her look bad. The pictures from her website prove thats false, she always looked like a Tammy Faye wannabe. Why suddenly pull this little stunt now? she wants attention, and to get it she drew attention to how hideous her makeup is, again. I’ll admit that I never ran into the whole Katheryn Harris looks like a babboon ass thing until you pointed it out, but I was focussing more on her antics in 2000 than her horrible visage.

Michael Moore is fat.
This is a statement of fact.

Okay, all partisanship aside, this is the dumbest thing I have ever heard in my life. Is she serious? Why are we letting her run for Senate?

God help us all if she wins.

Hmmm, I don’t know. I’m not sure that Mary Kay makes a shade to for Harris and DeLay.
Unless it’s “Cover My Bush Paleo Pink.”

He might just try saying that the video was doctored to make him look drunk.

Poor baby. She sure isn’t getting the payoff she expected from pimping for Bush.

Why do you post stuff that I can’t unsee?
My eyes!!!

I think Katherine Harris can be used to illustrate what is both good and bad about our democracy:
It is good that a goofy dingbat like her can run for the senate.
It is bad that a goofy dingbat like her can run for senate.

Mind if I change one thing? Hilary Clinton.
As they say, politics tends to balance itself out…

Neither of which apply to Harris.

“Hillary Clinton is hardly a dingbat.”
Really? I say that Harris would crush Hilary in a national election. Not that I’m expecting Harris to be in one.
BinkyBoy
Yeah, Hillary and her attempts to change state laws in Florida during the 2000 elections! That wench.
