My favorite golfer just won his second major:
Phil Mickelson delivered another dramatic finish in a major on Monday, flopping a chip out of deep rough to 2 feet for a birdie on the final hole and a one-shot victory in the PGA Championship.
The putt wasn’t nearly as long as his 18-footer to win the Masters last year, and there was no need to jump for joy this time.
Still, it was a sweet conclusion to a major championship season that had gone sour until he put together his best golf of the summer stretched over five days at Baltusrol by a storm-delayed final round.
And the 2005 Steelers season starts tonight.

“And the 2005 Steelers season starts tonight.”
I’m an Eagles fan and I’m having some friends over for the game tonight, so just to make all the discussion of you-know-who a little more tolerable, we came up with the TO/Drew Rosenhaus drinking game.
Even though he’s not playing and won’t be there, i’m sure TO’s name will be mentioned more than anybody else playing, so we decided that any time they mention TO, take a sip, and when they mention Rosenhause, chug.
We might be loaded before the pregame is over.

Maybe lefty can play WR for the Steelers.

C’mon now. You Tom Brady and He of the Hooded Sweatshirt are not going anywhere. Are you sure you want to put yourself through that AGAIN this season? Go Pats. ;-)

Naturally, I meant you KNOW Tom Brady…. stupid eyes.

I was pulling for Lefty – then he made four bogies in five holes.
The true mark of a loser!
However, he was lucky that nearly everyone else also faultered, and Woods started so poorly that he couldn’t quite make it to the top.
However, Lefty won me back with the fabulous chip on #18 for an easy birdie.
That’s the mark of a winner!!
