BTW, here is the new Open Source Media website, which seems pretty nicely put together and aesthetically pleasing.

Another interesting site. I’m not trying to be a dick, but it would be great if this didn’t erupt into a problem down the road. Particularly as Lydon’s politics are the mirror image of the Pajama crowd. Maybe this has already been addressed; I sincerely hope so.

I have been on that show.

“open source media”? unfortunately everything they produce and anything they link to is now copyright protected.

It seems a bit strange to me but I will wait and see.

maybe the term “open source media” came from the same ad wizards who brought us the “clean skies act”

Worse, it came from those who think Charles Johnson is a rational human being.

Wow, he looks almost as crazy as he is: http://www.osm.org/site/articles/staffcharlesjohnson/

I read somewhere that they say that Tammy Bruce represents “the middle.” Anyone who has ever listened to her radio show would laugh at that.
Kohn Cole is far more represntative of the middle so I’m thinking they’ll say he represents the extreme left of the spectrum.

A friend of mine is just starting up a new company called Newsvine very soon.
You might want to check it out when it goes live, but here’s the backgrounder on it for now.
Geek, Esq.
I triple dare the folks there to open a comments section and invite the creatures from Little Green Footballs.

They were trying to be ironic with that name, weren’t they? Like calling a fat guy ‘Tiny’, or a bald guy ‘Curly’. I mean, weren’t they?

Yeah, the use of “open source” is just absurd with that copyright notice. They really do have no clue.

Hmm. I guess it wasn’t squared away. From Open Source Media, the radio show:
Jeebus. Get someone in there with management experience.

“aesthetically pleasing?”
I guess if you are incredibly fond of vanilla.
pleonastic piranha
with that copyright notice, and the fact that the name is pre-owned, they surely must have just misspelled “open sore media”.
sorry, two large strikes against the new site; aesthetics notwithstanding.

Charles Johnson was playing jazz at the exact same point in time that modern jazz began to suck really bad.
Coincindence?
