Balloon Juice

Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

Bad people in a position to do bad things will do bad things because they are bad people. End of story.

Tide comes in. Tide goes out. You can’t explain that.

You cannot shame the shameless.

Welcome to day five of every-bit-as-bad-as-you-thought-it-would-be.

The fight for our country is always worth it. ~Kamala Harris

That’s my take and I am available for criticism at this time.

One way or another, he’s a liar.

I might just take the rest of the day off and do even more nothing than usual.

Following reporting rules is only for the little people, apparently.

The snowflake in chief appeared visibly frustrated when questioned by a reporter about egg prices.

It is not hopeless, and we are not helpless.

This isn’t Democrats spending madly. This is government catching up.

Oh FFS you might as well trust a 6-year-old with a flamethrower.

You come for women, you’re gonna get your ass kicked.

A thin legal pretext to veneer over their personal religious and political desires.

Technically true, but collectively nonsense

One lie, alone, tears the fabric of reality.

There are no moderate republicans – only extremists and cowards.

Is it negotiation when the other party actually wants to shoot the hostage?

We cannot abandon the truth and remain a free nation.

Take hopelessness and turn it into resilience.

Jesus, Mary, & Joseph how is that election even close?

Let me eat cake. The rest of you could stand to lose some weight, frankly.

You are so fucked. Still, I wish you the best of luck.

May I repeat my suggestion now to slow down, let the facts come out, and not be quite so quick to paint Maye as a “wrongly condemned innocent man?”

Or are the facts of the case just that irrelevant?

A guy is in bed, is awakened, fires into the darkness, and now is condemned to death, and you want ME to slow down?

How about the fucking government slows down?

Narcotics agent accused of manslaughter not guilty
    Diana Walsh, Chronicle Staff Writer

    Tuesday, December 13, 2005

A jury in San Jose today found a state narcotics agent not guilty of manslaughter for shooting a man he mistook for a parolee during a stakeout nearly two years ago. Agent Mike Walker was the first state drug officer ever tried for killing someone in the line of duty.
