Commenter Mary passes on this picture of her children:
Pooka, Fergus and Maggie show us what they think of having their picture taken (yes- their tongues are all out).
Also today, this cathouse my brother and father just built for Speak and Whisper (my bnrother’s cats):
This is the Taj Mahal of cathouses and over 6′ tall.
More tomorrow.

Holy crap, that’s a huge playhouse for those cats!
And if you’re temporarily between cats, it would make a lovely plant stand.

I’m curious about their names–why “Squeak” and “Whisper”?. Not that there is any logic to the names I gave my cats: Wonkie, Wren, Lily, Jimmy, Buddy, and Benjamin.

My husband wants to build something splendid like that for our beasts, but they seem to find and claim their own lairs just fine. For example, Maggie now owns the box of hats and gloves in the bottom of the hall closet, which makes a warm, plush nest for those cold nights.
