And trust me, that dog does NOT need any more treats. He’s a tank.

And yes, every dog on the planet does love to do that. He was checking out the picturesque Cape Breton Highlands. (And yes, he was wearing a proper doggie seatbelt.)

A bit of background: he’s almost 14, and we adopted him a year ago. His previous owner passed away suddenly as she was about to leave to do errands. Dreyf was in the car, with the engine running (and the window down, thank heavens.) He was stuck in that car for 24 hours before someone came. (Didn’t make a mess in the car either, poor little guy.) When we first got him, we thought he was just going to give up and die, as he was so listless and confused. He’s now spoiled rotten, as frisky as a pup, and walks around with a permanent laugh on his face (which is quite a facial expression on his breed — it makes him look like a cross between a Chinese Dragon and a monkfish.)
