I forgot to put up any pictures yesterday, but commenter Tony Alva sends us two pictures today:

Lucy licks herself.
Fiona being held by her person.

[…] I know this is upsetting, but just go look at this picture of Fiona and her person and it makes the pain go away. […]

Cute, cute, cute.

Love the cat pics. We have three: a black, a white, and a Tomkinese. They share space with a female Boxer. Four very different personalities in pets makes for entertainment

I know- the picture of the girl with the kitty should come with a warning label.

I can assure you that both the kitty and her person are as cute in person!

I believe that piture could turn a dog lover into a cat lover.
Hey Tony Alva, I hope she has a good agent. Is she more a park skater or a street skater?

Alas, I have to admit that I’m not “the” Tony Alva of Z-Boyz Fame, but from the age of 14 through 17 I wanted to be him. Oh hell, I STILL want to be him alright?! Thanks for all the kind words. The cats are now brooding on account of the fact that my daughter stole their fifteen minutes from them.

Cats don’t have “people” (“her person“), they have staff. Your construct makes the relationship sound too … equal.

I dunno, Bob. Cute, big-eyed preschoolers also have “staff.” At least in my experience as on-call staff of both preschoolers and cats. I’m thinking that when one is 3 years old (4, maybe?) being a cat’s person is appropriate. One becomes the cat’s staff member at about age 5 or 6.
