Balloon Juice

Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

fuckem (in honor of the late great efgoldman)

The press swings at every pitch, we don’t have to.

Republicans do not pay their debts.

You know it’s bad when the Project 2025 people have to create training videos on “How To Be Normal”.

He wakes up lying, and he lies all day.

We know you aren’t a Democrat but since you seem confused let me help you.

I’ve spoken to my cat about this, but it doesn’t seem to do any good.

Republicans: The threats are dire, but my tickets are non-refundable!

Not all heroes wear capes.

Welcome to day five of every-bit-as-bad-as-you-thought-it-would-be.

Red lights blinking on democracy’s dashboard

Republicans do not trust women.

Only Democrats have agency, apparently.

This year has been the longest three days of putin’s life.

Accused of treason; bitches about the ratings. I am in awe.

Relentless negativity is not a sign that you are more realistic.

You’re just a puppy masquerading as an old coot.

So many bastards, so little time.

Republicans are the party of chaos and catastrophe.

The low info voters probably won’t even notice or remember by their next lap around the goldfish bowl.

There are a lot more evil idiots than evil geniuses.

The words do not have to be perfect.

The republican ‘Pastor’ of the House is an odious authoritarian little creep.

If you are still in the gop, you are either an extremist yourself, or in bed with those who are.

    Speaking of Brokeback Mountain parodies…

Did anyone else see the SNL skit Brokeback Goldmine.

My stomach hurt from laughing so hard after watching that.

This has been done with Top Gun, also.

Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer are the subjects. Equally entertaining.

I apologize for not having a link.

That was a good one, John. Though I still think the best reworking is the one that turned the Shining into a romantic comedy.

Thanks for the Hasselhoff love, TDV. I can’t see that insanity enough.

We did it!

We raised the 25,000 for The Civics Center, and with the external matches, that gives them $60,000 for this Spring effort!

You guys rock!
