John- if you still need help escaping from Michelle Malkin’s basement, you know how to reach me. I’ve been trapped down there myself, so I know how scary it is, especially when Jesse tells you to put the lotion on your skin or else you get the hose again.
Like I said, I’m here for ya, man.

Oh no! Big news!
Well, granted, that’s not quite as bad as calling a constituent an asshole. But you know, she’s a Democrat so we have to take it out on her.

Curious – not when, but IF Mary McCarthy even gets a mention on this blog – four days on from her being fired for treasonous behavior.
Unlikely, though the delay is probably in finding a new and more moonbattery way than ever of making this all the fault of Bushco.

New ARG Poll shows Bushie’s approval number at 34%.
Is Shrub that New Nixon you used to hear so much about?

Sure it wasn’t because she gave money to a Democratic candidate?

Poor connies are thrashing about wildly looking for someone to scapegoat. But in the face of the vast incompetence of the Bush admin, nobody seems to be taking the bait anymore.
Must sadden them immensely.
New slogan for 2006: More whistle-blowers mean fewer whistle-asses.

Ah, she committed treason. See Constitution.
The latest round from the wingnits before last week was that there weren’t any secret prisons. So how do you commit treason by leaking (if she in fact did) about something that doesn’t exist?
And now they want to call dems hypocrites for behavior they themselves didn’t see as hypocritical, unless it applies to a “dem”.
The moral relavitism of the right is just breathtaking.
It’s interesting to see the Fox polls now. Me thinks Rupert has finished reading his tea leaves and we shall soon see all sorts of Fox-love for Hillary and her ilk.

If Mary McCarthy violated any law I say we put her on trial.
But there’s no way in hell that’s ever going to happen……
The Other Steve
Yeah, I’m still trying to figure that out.
Supposedly she committed treason for leaking something that we weren’t doing, which was part of some mary poppins plan to confuse the terrorists into thinking we were doing, by not letting them know we weren’t doing it.
When they’re not spinning, they seem to be puking this shit out.

jg – That’s interesting. I’m familiar with the gasbuddy.com website and use it all the time to check prices in my neighborhood.
Also interesting how the upper west isn’t feeling the heat. I wonder why? Do they not have the ethanol mandates or something? Perhaps they have surplus supply for the area?

CNN puts his sorry ass at 32%. Comment on that, Republican beeyotches.

I admit, I returned to the net after a long absence. It was too addictive back then; however, I have noticed a thing. In just the 6 months + I’ve decided to be exclusively a “lurker” and watch the blogs, and with my about 3 months of sporadic comments I have noticed another thing.
NOONE trusts the media. This blog balloon juice is a voice of . . . I won’t say dissent, but it’s close, yet I see it as a voice of PERSONAL honesty.
John might be a ‘Pub, in the same way that pat bucchanaan is a ‘pub, and tim is clearly a lib, but not a dishonest one, other than the fact that tim clearly hates bush. I don’t think tim hates ‘pubs, and I don’t think John is a flipper any more than he doesn’t like bush.
Thats all good. I’m not commenting about the blogs.
I’m commenting about the COMMENTS of blogs.
Not 3 months ago, Balloon Juice had CERTAIN posts that were over 50 comments, but in general not that often, in fact, most were under 20. Same with ACE (a conservative commentor and humorist at times) same with many many others.
I’ve seen that Blog comments aren’t just MUCH LARGER in numbers, but also MUCH MORE DIVERSE in contribution.
That said, I think it’s a good thing. John and Tim are interesting cats, no matter how I disagree, I read, because I might change my mind.
Thank god for citizen journalism. I wouldn’t Credit Insta, but I will say that he caught lightning in a bottle at just the right time.
Good for you John, good for you Tim.
I still disagree on most everything, but you aren’t PRICKS! and I have that option now, I can decide who I think is a prick journalist/editorial opeditor.
Thank you.

Bush was slurring his words again today. But then, if he’s not riding his bicycle he’s always got a designated driver.

Relative to the government and most of the blogosphere, I would trust the media with your kids.
Well, John has sorta been AWOL. They only recently started feeding the rift-raft with open threads. I mean, sheesh, what is ppGaz and DougJ would otherwise die over the weekend.
DougJ has paid the folks at John Hopkins alot of money for the personality augmentation routines.
I have submitted that to Websters as the finest example of oxymoron in western languages.

Anyone visited our friends at Scrutator recently? Looks like Intelligent Design isn’t “conservative” enough for them–now GOP4Me, having discovered fixedearth.com is pushing geocentrism…

Oh, man. That has GOT to be a spoof site. Please tell me it’s a spoof site. I don’t think I could stand it if that place wasn’t a spoof site.
Krista
Are you serious?
I don’t think I’ll follow the link, thanks. I’d rather not encourage them with more site hits.

Geocentrism. Jeebus.
It might be a spoof site, but it really isn’t any more intellectually bankrupt than creationism. If people can believe in Genesis, they can believe that the earth stands still. It’s the sort of blinkered, philistine pig-ignorance I’ve come to expect from fundies.
Can’t we have the Rapture now? I’m so sick of these people.
