I hear the U.S. has sent “Iron” Mike Ditka to Iran to command the Special Forces. Rumsfeld figures Ditka can have the whole invasion/reconstruction finished by Columbus Day.

Hey, I see that the real winners of January’s superbowl played yesterday, and dominated the Cardinals, winning 21-10.

Remember the plot of Thomas Harris’ first suspense novel, John? The one where the PLO turns the Goodyear Blimp into a gigantic fragmentation grenade and tries to detonate it directly over the Super Bowl and kill 40,000 people?

    Enjoy that game…

Although I’m not a regular reader of this blog, I pay casual attention to it. I’m concerned that Balloon Juice has not yet corrected some of the erroneous claims that one of its bloggers – the ridiculously partisan “Tim F” who gets much of his info spoon-fed to him by propaganda sites such as Think Progress and Media Matters – has made in recent weeks.

In his enthusiasm to take part in a cansorhip campaign against ABC over The Path to 9/11 he claimed, for example:

    1. That it was “promoted exclusively to rightwing blogs and allied news outlets like Rush Limbaugh and NewsMax.”

    2. That is was “written by a known conservative activist”; that is was “funded, written and directed by conservative activists.”

These assertions are false and ought to be corrected.

If you need help weening yourself away from myths spread on propaganda sites that fed Tim F’s hysteria, I’ll post information in reply. However, I don’t see why I should have to – Tim F seemed quite worked up about ABC and if he doesn’t know that his information is false it would mean he let himself get whipped into a frenzy – calling for actions such as boycotts of affiliate stations and heads to roll at ABC – with a reckless disregard for accurate info. Now that the country survived the airing of the movie, it appears this blog is taking the position that it need not worry how accurate the information it was transmitted was.

Whatever the case, over a week has passed and your blog has left propaganda uncorrected. Ironic considering it was over the charge that ABC was engaging in propaganda.

I ended up watching the docudrama because of the censorship campaign and found it quite unlike what people like Tim F claimed it was, and I’m happy the story of John O’Neill – a true hero – was seen by millions of Americans. But that’s a matter of opinion – I’m not asking for a correction there, just noting that I have one less reason to respect Balloon Juice and it’s Clintonoid hack, Tim F.

Heh heh…Worthlessberger’s stats were atrocious. Why was Willy The Coach so unwilling to go to Chaz Batch when it was CLEAR that when they removed Bennie’s appendix, they also apparently removed his Good and replaced it with Suck??

I think this loss is what Pitty needs–a wake-up call that they’re playing like the 2005 Bears…all D and so little O. Incredible that Bill Parker gets…what…20 yards rushing? Ouch.

Sorry about the loss, Mr. Cole, but I think it’ll make ’em a better team later in the season.

Yeah, I agree. Lumps need to be taken, and better now than down the road. I too wondered why we didn’t go with Chaz Batch again. Big Ben was clearly not quite ready, so why not stick with the guy who performed well in week one and let Ben get another week of practice under his belt before stepping out there again? What we saw was just plain lousy. There were open receivers, but Ben kept missing them. Ugh.

Tim F says: “Sweet, I always wanted my own stalker. You haven’t really made in blogging without one.”

So it is “stalking” to request in the comments section that Tim F correct the erroneous propaganda he transmitted to his readers in the midst of his censorship campaign against a movie he claimed was propaganda?

I’d like to see Tim F back up his claim that ABC promoted Path To 9/11 “exclusively to rightwing blogs and allied news outlets like Rush Limbaugh and NewsMax.”

I’d like to see Tim F back up his claim that Path To 9/11 was “funded, written, and directed by conservative activists.”

Tim F requested that many people get harrassed in his censorship campaign. I’m not harrassing him. The writer of Path To 9/11 recieved death threats during Tim F’s censorship campaign. Prove that the writer is a “conservative activist.” The writer has stated he is not even a political conservative, let alone an activist. Is he a liar? Present your evidence.

I accuse this blog of transmitting lies as part of a censorship campaign.

Prove me wrong. Prove that Tim F’s assertions are true.

Tim F presented himself during his censorship campaign as someone who just wants the truth. Why won’t he back up his assertions?
