Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

Speaking of republicans, is there a way for a political party to declare intellectual bankruptcy?

You don’t get rid of your umbrella while it’s still raining.

Impressively dumb. Congratulations.

Let me eat cake. The rest of you could stand to lose some weight, frankly.

A consequence of cucumbers

Joe Lieberman disappointingly reemerged to remind us that he’s still alive.

We cannot abandon the truth and remain a free nation.

No one could have predicted…

Take your GOP plan out of the witness protection program.

Do not shrug your shoulders and accept the normalization of untruths.

A thin legal pretext to veneer over their personal religious and political desires

After roe, women are no longer free.

Let’s delete this post and never speak of this again.

So it was an October Surprise A Day, like an Advent calendar but for crime.

Republicans do not pay their debts.

Why is it so hard for them to condemn hate?

rich, arrogant assholes who equate luck with genius

I’m pretty sure there’s only one Jack Smith.

if you can’t see it, then you are useless in the fight to stop it.

How can republicans represent us when they don’t trust women?

… riddled with inexplicable and elementary errors of law and fact

In the bottom left hand corner, I saw a link to this.

    Democrats Win
    What Next?
    By Tom Daschle

What in the flying fuck does Tom Daschle know about Democrats winning?

I suspect the “thinking” went a bit like this:

We hate working so we’ll make the Democrats work because they must hate doing the jobs they were elected to do just as much as we do. And because it took us forever to get anything done it will take them…two times forever to get anything done and we can tell everyone how lazy they are!

What. Ever, I’m looking forward to the squeals when a bunch of fat piggies don’t get their pork.

What it does mean is that every whine and rant by Republicans about the hoped for and expected “bi-partisanship” of the incoming Democratic party is confirmed absolute bullshit.
