They have no ideas all DemonocRats can do is say what they would not do and that is not a positive message. It is too bad for DemocRats that all they can do is accues because it just shows how petty they are. Who would vote for such a downer? WASHINGTON – Attorney General Alberto Gonzales wrongly stated he was not involved in discussions about the firings of federal prosecutors, his former chief of staff told the Senate Judiciary Committee Thursday.

“I don’t think the attorney general’s statement that he was not involved in any discussions of U.S. attorney removals was accurate,” testified Kyle Sampson, who quit this month as Gonzales’ top aide. “I remember discussing with him this process of asking certain U.S. attorneys to resign.”

    So will Democrats investigate this?

Sen. Dianne Feinstein has resigned from the Military Construction Appropriations subcommittee. As previously and extensively reviewed in these pages, Feinstein was chairperson and ranking member of MILCON for six years, during which time she had a conflict of interest due to her husband Richard C. Blum’s ownership of two major defense contractors, who were awarded billions of dollars for military construction projects approved by Feinstein.

As MILCON leader, Feinstein relished the details of military construction, even micromanaging one project at the level of its sewer design. She regularly took junkets to military bases around the world to inspect construction projects, some of which were contracted to her husband’s companies, Perini Corp. and URS Corp.

What I really fail to understand is how so many “bright” people have such bad memory? How does one get hired if one cannot remember what occurred a mere three or four months ago. Especially if that is the only thing that one does all day long. How does one graduate from any institute of higher education with such a bad memory?

If I were in front of any person at my company and answered with such aplomb “I can’t remember”, I think that I would be tossed to the curb immediately.
