Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

Incompetence, fear, or corruption? why not all three?

People are complicated. Love is not.

Text STOP to opt out of updates on war plans.

Mediocre white men think RFK Jr’s pathetic midlife crisis is inspirational. The bar is set so low for them, it’s subterranean.

Too often we confuse noise with substance. too often we confuse setbacks with defeat.

This really is a full service blog.

The “burn-it-down” people are good with that until they become part of the kindling.

DeSantis transforming Florida into 1930s Germany with gators and theme parks.

Black Jesus loves a paper trail.

If ‘weird’ was the finish line, they ran through the tape and kept running.

I see no possible difficulties whatsoever with this fool-proof plan.

Do not shrug your shoulders and accept the normalization of untruths.

The Supreme Court cannot be allowed to become the ultimate, unaccountable arbiter of everything.

Usually wrong but never in doubt

Our job is not to persuade republicans but to defeat them.

Sadly, there is no cure for stupid.

Conservatism: there are people the law protects but does not bind and others who the law binds but does not protect.

Their shamelessness is their super power.

If you are still in the gop, you are either an extremist yourself, or in bed with those who are.

The cruelty is the point; the law be damned.

Is it negotiation when the other party actually wants to shoot the hostage?

You are either for trump or for democracy. Pick one.

Lick the third rail, it tastes like chocolate!

There are no moderate republicans – only extremists and cowards.

The Vermont senate passed a resolution calling for the US Congress to initiate impeachment procedures against Bush and Cheney. The vote was 16-9.

Yeah, and 3 of the 9 were Dems.

Of course, there’s still a fair-sized portion of Vermont that wants to secede. It’s a state that marches to its own drummer.

    Why does Vermont hate Amuricah?

Laura has fled the White House.

Damn it. Now I feel tempted to stop by the H-A on the way home from work. Perhaps count the number of guys & gals with wires in their ears and divide by pie.

No, I shall ignore this rumour. I shall.

Meh, PC, you missed the point — Bush still believes that we stand down when they stand up. It’s just that his lackeys are no longer pretending that they’ll ever stand up.

Be nice if we had a system where the congress could issue a no confidence vote against Bush and start an election. Don’t they do that in Britian. Because, plainly only the desperate of people still have confidence in the guy.

    It’s the state motto.

‘Welcome to Vermont. We’re crazy, but we’ve got skiing and maple syrup. Also beer. Yeeeeeeeargggggghhhhh!’

Unfortunately, it doesn’t fit on the license plates.

I work with the Drummer. They’re pretty good. What I find fascinating, is that they each record their track, upload them to the last guy who does vocals who puts the whole song together.
