Let’s see. They offer to improve a customer’s ability to express himself, for FREE. Clearly the Messrs. Lolly are commieislahomofascists.
When real Americans speak their statements are laden with mispronuciations, fractured phrases, confused syntax and when all else fails, the passive voice.
Real Americans don’t speak truthfully, they speak with truthiness.
That video got me to (finally?) resolve a nagging question about usage of “more important/importantly”. important is the adjective, importantly is the adverb. From Dictionary.com:
Usage noteBoth more important and more importantly occur at the beginning of a sentence in all varieties of standard English:
More important (or More importantly), her record as an administrator is unmatched.
Today, more importantly is the more common, even though some object to its use on the grounds that more important is an elliptical form of “What is more important” and that the adverb importantly could not occur in such a construction. More importantly probably developed by analogy with other sentence-modifying adverbs, as curiously, fortunately, and regrettably.
That’s not funny, Piers Morgan was injured when he fell off.
George W. Bush was not injured by his fall off a Segway. But he should have been for starting a immoral illegal war that has killed over a million people!!!!!1!1
