Balloon Juice

Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

Let’s delete this post and never speak of this again.

Black Jesus loves a paper trail.

Speaker Mike Johnson is a vile traitor to the House and the Constitution.

One of our two political parties is a cult whose leader admires Vladimir Putin.

Many life forms that would benefit from greater intelligence, sadly, do not have it.

Balloon Juice has never been a refuge for the linguistically delicate.

It is possible to do the right thing without the promise of a cookie.

But frankly mr. cole, I’ll be happier when you get back to telling us to go fuck ourselves.

“Jesus paying for the sins of everyone is an insult to those who paid for their own sins.”

Be a traveling stable for those who can’t find room at the inn.

There is one struggling party in US right now, and it’s not the Democrats.

A democracy can’t function when people can’t distinguish facts from lies.

Never entrust democracy to any process that requires republicans to act in good faith.

Today’s gop: why go just far enough when too far is right there?

“woke” is the new caravan.

Insiders who complain to politico: please report to the white house office of shut the fuck up.

Every one of the “Roberts Six” lied to get on the court.

I wonder if trump will be tried as an adult.

So many bastards, so little time.

Authoritarian republicans are opposed to freedom for the rest of us.

Incompetence, fear, or corruption? why not all three?

You can’t attract Republican voters. You can only out organize them.

“But what about the lurkers?”

Not all heroes wear capes.

Yeah, that was weird. I must have inadvertently bumped it back into the editing queue.

Why don’t we ever hear about the good things cholera does?

    Police cholera criminal.

Yo, his shirtah has a red cholera!

One random cholera day wins a prize at the radio station.

Seriously, Tim. Here’s the scary point. Without snark, you really can say parts of Iraq are like Indiana. If Iraq was filled with meth labs, fundies, The Ig-nants, and the teen pregnancies.

Well it’s obviously Al Quaida doing germ warfare. Pretty soon they’ll mount the little buggers on kites and fly ’em over New York City and Detroit and LA and kill us all dead as infidel door knobs.

Let their bowels run with the firey fluids of freedom! If you weren’t such a moonbat you’d know it is better to suffer a debilitating illness caused by filthy conditions as a free citizen than to not suffer a debilitating illness and live in sanitary conditions while in thrall to a ruthless dictator.
