Balloon Juice

Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

Celebrate the fucking wins.

They fucked up the fucking up of the fuckup!

After dobbs, women are no longer free.

Republicans want to make it harder to vote and easier for them to cheat.

Fundamental belief of white supremacy: white people are presumed innocent, minorities are presumed guilty.

Baby steps, because the Republican Party is full of angry babies.

It’s all just conspiracy shit beamed down from the mothership.

Relentless negativity is not a sign that you are more realistic.

Some judge needs to shut this circus down soon.

Lick the third rail, it tastes like chocolate!

Compromise? There is no middle ground between a firefighter and an arsonist.

Tide comes in. Tide goes out. You can’t explain that.

It may be funny to you motherfucker, but it’s not funny to me.

Republicans: slavery is when you own me. freedom is when I own you.

Weird. Rome has an American Pope and America has a Russian President.

Accountability, motherfuckers.

This really is a full service blog.

I’d hate to be the candidate who lost to this guy.

That’s my take and I am available for criticism at this time.

Give the craziest people you know everything they want and hope they don’t ask for more? Great plan.

Putting aside our relentless self-interest because the moral imperative is crystal clear.

This is dead girl, live boy, a goat, two wetsuits and a dildo territory.  oh, and pink furry handcuffs.

The current Supreme Court is a dangerous, rogue court.

A democracy can’t function when people can’t distinguish facts from lies.

I voted, honest! But I draw the line at carting the laptop around the ‘hood until I find an unsecured wireless network.

Which is probably why RS will win.

And I think there might be advantages if they did win.

    1. They’d be too busy celebrating to post about anything other than how cool they are.
    2. They might overdose on the source of their secret powers.
    3. There’s a chance I might one day go to a bar and overhear a pasty-faced wart telling some hapless female that his blog won the best of whatever in 2007.
    4. If (for example) RS wins and Malkin doesn’t, Outer Wingnuttia might be roiled by civil war and hair pulling.

I haven’t been carting my laptop around the neighborhood, but on the days when I’m on campus, I’m voting from my office computer, from the computer in one of my classrooms, and from my laptop. That’s not unethical, is it?

According to the folks at SN! at least one right-wing contender is now saying he didn’t really want to win, he was just pretending to want to win so he could watch the stoopid libruls freak out.

Too bad GWB isn’t quite that immature.

A site with “I READ THESE MORON SO YOU DON’T HAVE TO” has the type of wit to get me through the day and is worth a vote. Blue Victory in Virginia and victory in the poll. Representative democracy at work, I voted and voted often.

Gee, I really didn’t expect my “Ghahhhh!” comment to be deleted. Can you tell me why it was dumped. Offensive? Off topic? What?

But what is really wild is you dumped the comment that shows you blegged for votes on dkos. Ashamed of all that support from the, “Screw Them America is the real terrorists!”, crowd?

    Wimp

Note from Michael: Howie, I didn’t dump the comment, and I honestly don’t know what happened. I checked the moderation queue, and I don’t see it there either. In fact, unless you are pimping v|@gr@, I don’t touch the comments. In any case, I’m sorry that happened.

Just to be clear, is there any particular opponent we should vote for to bring about socialized medicine? Or will voting for any of your opponents do it?

I’m an opportunist. If it’s socialized medicine you want, vote for me! We Dutch are experts at it.

[…] To the top! BTW, if you haven’t voted lately consider tossing some votes to the Jawa Report instead because (1) I feel responsible for getting them bumped from the conservative category, and (2) nobody seems to know what happened to one of their comments here. […]
