    They have it up over at The Daily Show site. Stewart said the the interview lasted 18 minutes but they only had time for 6. There was a lot of beeps in the last few minutes, so… It was more of the same – Goldberg getting called on his bullshit and unable to defend it. I really hope they release the whole 18 minutes unedited. Let’s start an e-mail campaign.

    My god, I hope so. That interview was epic. I liked how as it jumped from clip to clip, you could see Stewart slowly collapsing in shock at the sheer stupidity. By the end, I think he was clinging to his desk.

    On the topic of the Pantload v Stewart; the doughy one has fallen back on a classic wingnut defense tactic–namely peddling such an overwhelming load of bullshit that you can’t figure out where to start with your rebuttal. They then take you speechlessness as a sign that they have beaten you.

    I would’ve liked to have seen Jon Stewart say something about fascism being the merging of the corporation and the state, with the populace being essentially just cogs in the wheels, but hey, he is a comedian. I’ve been taken aback bby a dumptruck load of stupidity once or twice myself and formulating a counterattack can be difficult.

    Stewart was definitely rolling in the last few minutes though.

    I would say no chance of that. I am guessing that the massive obvious editing job was to keep Jon from looking even more like the clueless dense empty suit he is.
