With a picture being of McCain being surrounded by the very lobbyists he says fear him and his attempt to subvert the public finance rules his campaign is dead. He’s getting beaten up so badly right now I don’t see how he can continue.
Mittens will unsuspend his campaign and bring back the five heroes for the good of the country. Yay Mittens! Go. Team. Go!

Actually the print media is carrying the McCain story, but 24/7 seems to have backed off. I guess it helps to have the right type of friends.

Thanks jrg for ruining my Saturday, I really should stay away from the internets, and the librul medias on the weekend and save my anger for the workweek. I swear I’d like to take every one who says “evolution is only a theory” and beat the shit out of them with a biology textbook. Then fly them to a island and force them to all live upon bible based science and laws. Anyone showing up with polyester and cotton blend undies would be shot getting off the plane.

If Nader leaps into the fray at the last minute I’m not sure if there are enough people who’ll buy the “And now for something completely different,” message. In 2000 the people I knew who did buy it at the start all wound up voting for Gore.
For the record, I think saying Nader’s WATB ticket “spoiled” the election for Gore is bullshit and gives that blithering ass way too much credit. But if he joins forces with his long-lost twin Ron Paul it would at least create some comedy.

It occurs to me that the Democrats have a chance of doing a little hardcore politics in the Senate. If Harry Reid was smart he could threaten McConnell with opening up an investigation on McCain and lobbyist in the ethics committee and try to get some bills passed. It would have been sweet victory if McConnell got a taste of something he’s been dishing back.
But alas, we have that fuck Lieberman in charge of the ethics committee. His meetings probably consists of jerking off and shooting his load on a bust of Cheney. He might even make a game out of it, trying to take out the candle on top of the bust) I’m not sure what the hell he does with his time.
Anyways, a political opportunity wasted.

I just wanted to mention I am crock-potting as we speak. Not sure what it is. I think I’m gonna call it Green Pork. It’s uh…pork, with green chiles, green apples, onion and a green or yellow bell pepper. Seasoned with Oregano, a shitload of Basil, garlic (of course) and beer (of course). I think I threw in like a 1/2 tsp of ginger and nutmeg, too, along with some soy and some bourbon (had it handy, if you know what I mean).
I thought of you guys (sniff).
