Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

Our job is not to persuade republicans but to defeat them.

Peak wingnut was a lie.

The rest of the comments were smacking Boebert like she was a piñata.

“Can i answer the question? No you can not!”

“Just close your eyes and kiss the girl and go where the tilt-a-whirl takes you.” ~OzarkHillbilly

Let there be snark.

And now I have baud making fun of me. this day can’t get worse.

Putting aside our relentless self-interest because the moral imperative is crystal clear.

They fucked up the fucking up of the fuckup!

Following reporting rules is only for the little people, apparently.

Insiders who complain to politico: please report to the white house office of shut the fuck up.

It’s all just conspiracy shit beamed down from the mothership.

Whoever he was, that guy was nuts.

Boeing: repeatedly making the case for high speed rail.

Wow, I can’t imagine what it was like to comment in morse code.

Republicans cannot even be trusted with their own money.

How stupid are these people?

You come for women, you’re gonna get your ass kicked.

With all due respect and assumptions of good faith, please fuck off into the sun.

Michigan is a great lesson for Dems everywhere: when you have power…use it!

There are a lot more evil idiots than evil geniuses.

Fundamental belief of white supremacy: white people are presumed innocent, minorities are presumed guilty.

Thanks to your bullshit, we are now under siege.

Atlanta Tornado

I’m in Florida, and I thought the bit of rain we got last night was bad weather. Good thing I wasn’t in Atlanta.

This is just over a mile from my house. Even closer to my place, a row of historic homes was flattened! Fortunately, my house is ok – just a bit of trash up and down the street. Nothing compared to what others have to deal with.

Yeah, I’m in San Antonio and looking at the late news, saw Shirley Franklin — was wondering why the Atl mayor was on then started hearing about the tornado … sounds as though the old Fulton Bag bldg collapsed … isn’t that the place that had the big fire while being turned into condos?

The SEC tournament has been moved to Georgia Tech because of damage done to the Georgia Dome. Tickets are limited to family, staff and media leaving thousands of fans searching for a sports bar, I guess. This is suppose to be good for the Georgia players because Kentucky fans are quite noisy. The National Weather service has issued a tornado watch until 7 pm tonight for the area.

I’m about thirty miles west of Atlanta and we have a big ‘un headed right at us this moment.

At least we don’t get earthquakes and hurricanes..

At least our earthquakes are spread out over decades along the San Andreas Fault.

But then there’s venture capitalist Alan Patricof. And Bear Stearns.

Count your blessings, man. Back up in the neck of the woods where you and I are from, they’ve had over 800 cm of snowfall (with more to come) so far this winter.

Hey, at least the necessary comparison has already been made (last night) and we can get on with regular storm coverage:

“I have not seen anything like this before,” Atlanta fire Battalion Chief Gerry Rusinski said. “It looked like 9-11 when we pulled up.”
