The line between political reporting and fan fiction continues to blur.

If rights aren’t universal, they are privilege, not rights.

Oppose, oppose, oppose. do not congratulate. this is not business as usual.

“In this country American means white. everybody else has to hyphenate.”

You passed on an opportunity to be offended? What are you even doing here?

Trumpflation is an intolerable hardship for every American, and it’s Trump’s fault.

So it was an October Surprise A Day, like an Advent calendar but for crime.

Let me file that under fuck it.

We’ve had enough carrots to last a lifetime. break out the sticks.

Historically it was a little unusual for the president to be an incoherent babbling moron.

Yeah, with this crowd one never knows.

You know it’s bad when the Project 2025 people have to create training videos on “How To Be Normal”.

You are so fucked. Still, I wish you the best of luck.

This must be what justice looks like, not vengeful, just peaceful exuberance.

A solid first round victory for the Eers, 75-65.

Duke on Saturday.

BTW- I have not written about them much this year, because I just do not find the playstyle as compelling as I did Beilein’s teams.

I love sports, although admittedly not so much basketball…but is it just me or do others find College sports completely uninteresting.

Glad your team won though John.

Eh, I think yinz’ll be all right. You know who looked real good today? Duke.

If only one of those wildly lanky lookin’ guys from Belmont had thought to just stand in the lane and at least consider taking a charge, West Virginia might be one of the most rooted-against teams in the country this weekend. As it stands, they’ll be one of the most rooted for – I sure would be. Good luck – –

Ninerdave, I’m the opposite. Really can’t/don’t get into pro. Much prefer college sports. More authentic rivalries, if that makes any sense.

Keep the faith Cole and Thuggy will entertain. Recruiting the most unsavory characters he can find, primarily transfers from dubious community colleges, is his speciality. But early flameouts, DUI’s, breaking contracts, are all part of the Circus. Enjoy!

The boys from Belmont wore down Douche University for you, John. Finish them!

I’m pleased to see I’m not the only Duke-hater here. I was listening to the Duke/Belmont game on my way home from work and rushed to the TV with Belmont up 1 in the closing minute. I had already conjured up an image in my mind of Belmont’s athletic studs taking it to Duke’s brainiacs, and was shocked to see how puny the Belmont players looked. Cudos to them for taking a much stronger foe to the wire.

Not to get too political or anything, but there is lesson here for those who think a super-powered military will win every contest.

There is still a lot of love for Huggins in Southwestern Ohio. He creates strivers who work hard in a Pistons or Steelers type way. But I still loved it when Bob Knight recently called him “400 pounds of butter”. I think it was the horrendous suit he wore in the game against Cincinnati.
I think you’ll grow to appreciate his team’s style.

    John said (paraphrasing):
“Beilein’s teams had a compelling playing style when he was at WVU.” Is that the best we have to look forward to in the next few years at Michigan? He must have done with mirrors down there at WVa because this season he put out an over-coached, steaming pile of dung on the floor this season for the Maize and Blue.

Yeah actually it does, and probably part of my problem is that I never went to a college with a team. Hell even my high school teams were horrible.

I have WVU vs Duke in the second rd. I took Duke, but I hope they loose. After looking at my sheet again, I want Duke to win, I have them in the next rd too. What a bad pick. I have w. kentucky today, what a lucky pick. Same as my kansas st. pick.
