Come for the politics, stay for the snark.

Tick tock motherfuckers!

Republicans: “Abortion is murder but you can take a bus to get one.” Easy peasy.

The frogs are rarely mistaken.

Narcissists are always shocked to discover other people have agency.

Ron DeSantis, the grand wizard, oops, governor of FL.

Since when do we limit our critiques to things we could do better ourselves?

I’d try pessimism, but it probably wouldn’t work.

It’s all just conspiracy shit beamed down from the mothership.

Trump’s legal defense is going to be a dumpster fire inside a clown car on a derailing train.

Let’s delete this post and never speak of this again.

🎶 Those boots were made for mockin’ 🎵

I was confident that someone would point it out and thought why not me.

I’m sure you banged some questionable people yourself. We’re allowed to grow past that.

Meanwhile over at truth Social, the former president is busy confessing to crimes.

Fight them, without becoming them!

This has so much WTF written all over it that it is hard to comprehend.

Schmidt just says fuck it, opens a tea shop.

The gop is a fucking disgrace.

Quote tweet friends, screenshot enemies.

If you still can’t see these things even now, maybe politics isn’t your forte and you should stop writing about it.

You can’t attract Republican voters. You can only out organize them.

Pelosi: “He either is stupid, or he thinks the rest of us are.” Why not both?

This really is a full service blog.

I really should read my own blog.

I guess yelling that she was going to vote for Hillary over McCain didn’t get her enough attention, so Ann Coulter once again farts in public to try to gain everyone’s attention:

If characters from “The Hills” were to emote about race, I imagine it would sound like B. Hussein Obama’s autobiography, “Dreams From My Father.”

Has anybody read this book? Inasmuch as the book reveals Obama to be a flabbergasting lunatic, I gather the answer is no. Obama is about to be our next president: You might want to take a peek. If only people had read “Mein Kampf” …

What an asshole.

I find it better to just ignore her. She thrives on attention and, quite literally, wouldn’t have a career without it. Better to laugh and move on I say.

But you’re right: she’s still an asshole.

I wondered how she would be able to walk back from her endorsement of Hillary over McCain – now she can say she would have endorsed Hillary, but can’t stomach Obama. Just that with it Obama v McCain, she has to come out for McCain – in interest of nation, etc.

How is it that she can get away with comparing Obama’s book to Mein Kampf and be GETTING PAID to do it at the same time?
I’m so tired of the rightwing scum getting away with what appears to be corporate funded hate speech.

The latest brouhaha being constructed by the rightwing nuts is this Expelled movie where they claim their Creationist-Intelligent Design nonsense is being ‘censored’ by godless athiests. This is the movie starring Ben Stein and recently got a lot of extra free press for EXPELLING PZ Myers from a screening while totally missing out that Richard Dawkins was in attendance! (PZ and Dawkins were featured in Expelled, credited and thanked, but they threw PZ out anyway!!).

The movie portrays athiests (liberals…) as Nazi’s.

While the religious kooks and rightwing politicians scream that it’s the liberals who want to recreate Nazism (communism, socialism, realism etc.) in our time, they are the ones concocting fake wars and “privatizing” OUR national military. These same highly coffered and stylishly dressed Christianic political avengers are also very supportive of TORTURING people.

They point and whine at the abusive regimes of the past and try to infer that these are the traits of their adversaries, all the while they are busy building a political framework that really would make the Nazi’s proud.

Folks, these are WAR CRIMINALS of the worst variety. While I haven’t read Obama’s book, I have read the Constitution of the United States as well as the Nuremberg trials. At this point in time I do not even care who wins the fucking election so much as I want to hammer home that it won’t matter if we don’t prosecute those among us who have fostered and advanced the concepts, processes and implementation of torture, even if they are of the highest elected office (especially).

The stakes couldn’t be any higher. I got worried when they threw out the Magna Carta, when they started ‘dumbing down’ the definition of torture I had to do what I could and start speaking more forcefully on the issue. Let’s see which candidate speaks the strongest about this issue and go from there. In the meantime I’m with those who are pressuring Congress and our courts to take appropriate legal action against people who’ve already publicly admitted to justifying and implementing torture as war criminals.

    Enjoy

Yet you worship at the feet of Glenzilla and excuse the comments of Rev. Wright.

If the term “moral degenerate” has any validity and can be fairly applied to anyone, there are few people who merit that term more than Rush Limbaugh. He is the living and breathing embodiment of moral degeneracy, with his countless overlapping sexual affairs, his series of shattered, dissolved marriages, his hedonistic and illegal drug abuse, his jaunts, with fistfulls of Viagra (but no wife), to an impoverished Latin American island renowned for its easy access to underage female prostitutes.

I am sorry, Paul L., but the text you quote does not support your argument. As far as Limbaugh is concerned, that is the absolute truth. As far as Wright is concerned, your understanding of him is based on the propaganda you have accepted as truth.

Wright is not perfect, and on some subjects is wrong, but he is not selfish, greedy, dishonest, creepy, nor a sexual predator.

As a barely religious white male descendant of slaveholders, I have no problem with nearly everything Wright has to say. The truth is ugly sometimes.

To these conservatarians, the working-class blacks are the internally colonized, the serfs of the modern world. You can’t justify exploiting them if you do not have contempt for them, and the incredible resentment of them stems from outrage that they stand up for themselves as a community. Racism and class conflict are conflated, so declaring that black people need to stand up to their oppressors is, to the conservatrian, as racist as the white communities that oppress blacks in order to exploit them.

God forbid public resources be directed to supporting the serfs and making them self-sufficient – they are serfs, and the proper order is for the surplus labor of the dark people to be directed to supporting the white middle and upper classes.

Well, that is my marxist-freudian take on it, at least.

The facts imply that Limbaugh is a pedophile sex tourist. He is free to defend himself. He would rather not speak about the situation, so I feel free to make adverse inferences based on his silence.

As for the Wright sermon, it is propaganda to take a brief portion that is not representative of the whole sermon, or the bulk of Wright’s work and life, and to play it repeatedly while trying to keep the controversy alive. Hannity is a propagandist. You rely on his word at your peril.

Ann Coulter, though, apparently never takes the mask off. I can’t decide if that means she works harder at it, or if she actually believes it, or if it’s harder for political entertainers to drop their act or what.

Paul L, here’s that sermon in a nutshell: God is eternal, unchanging, and good. Governments change, and often screw you over. There is a reason the GOP has been trying to reel in her brand of extremism (even though it’s representative of the GOP’s stance on many issues). This kind of thing hurts the Republican party by pushing away the middle.

Give this psycho hag a bigger microphone! All she’s doing is articulating what a lot of the 30%ers believe. She’s forcing high profile conservatives to distance themselves from this kind of crap, which in turn makes them look more guilty of believing and perpetuating this junk. She’s been a regular speaker at CPAC, for heaven’s sake.

In a nutshell, she’s hurting the GOP from the inside in a way the Dems never could.

Wasn’t it a couple of months ago that Coulter said to Danny Deutsch that Jews need to be “perfected”? Now she’s comparing other people to nazis?

Coulter appeals to the kind of people who go to dog fights. She sells the snarl. Her fans don’t actually pay any attention to what she is saying.

Obama’s book that nobody reads was the core of his $1m income that he recently reported, right? So, my hunch is that she hates the idea that someone as real and articulate as he is could be making that kind of money without pulling down his intellectual pants and mooning us the way she does. She’s just jealous.

By the way, Jeremiah Wright helped save LBJ’s life. Eat that, trollies.

As for Obama’s book Dreams from My Father, it’s probably the best book ever by any major presidential candidate. It ranks with Grant’s memoirs as an example of first-rate literature by an American politician.

Coulter is really losing it. Memeorandum posted her article and only a couple far-right nobodies have linked to it.

Strangely enough, I think we are seeing the end of the influence of gasbag radio, too. Limbaugh, Hannity and Ingraham all went nuts on McCain and it made zero difference.

Hey! I linked to it, and I’m a LEFT wing nobody!

(But not a nobody enough for Memeorandum, evidently. Sheesh.)

    Chris Says:

I think we need to start the official “Ann Coulter Finally Just Decides to say the N-word already” pool. Her shock routine is getting stale, so I’m predicting at least one last attempt at Red State Glory before flameout. She’s like the CPAC-approved version of Marilyn Manson.

I’m gonna go with.. October 13th, this year.

And this is the way she’ll slip it in:

“I was going to have a few comments about John Edwards Barack Obama but you have to go into rehab if you use the word ‘faggot’ n****r.”

So it to ok imply that Rush is practicing pedophile?

Nobody said anything about prepubescent girls.

    Though nothing would surprise me.

    Eat that, trollies.

Look, if Jeremiah Wright didn’t save LBJ, then we would have won the Vietnam War. The fact that he did just shows how anti-American he is.

Also if Paul L. does a comparison of the military service of Wright and the military service of people like Ann Coulter and Dick Cheney, I think he’ll see who the REAL patriot is.

Or maybe Paul prefers people who gas off rather than people who actually “walk the walk”?

Wright can say whatever he wants–look at his military history. He deserves it.

Coulter is a good guide to what the Rove attacks will be like. You can bet every quote like this will be read over and over on Fox news. They will also say Obama was lying when he said he disagreed with Wright, if his own book has the same sentiments in it.
This may be Obama’s swiftboat moment. If they keep up this reading quotes from the book, then they can keep him distracted from talking about the issues.
For some reason the left never seems to understand how Rove beats them, and even now you never hear how Obama is going to withstand this swiftboating. It’s as if Democrats hope Rove might decide to play nice this time, that’s their strategy. How can Obama claim to represent whites if he wanted so desperately to expunge the white blood from his veins? Obama X may be the slogan.
